James Cameron is back with a new blockbuster ready to enchant you with it's magnificint effects, music and story.

Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) is a man who's trapped in a wheel chair because of an injury in his back which has made him unable to move his legs. When his twin brother dies, he's contacted to replace his brother in a huge project on the planet of Pandora far, far away. The year is 2154. Man has found a very valuable thing called 'unobtanium' on Pandora, which sells for a lot of mony on Earth. The problem is that the natives who's living on Pandora, called the Na'Vi, has their home right on the spot where there's more unobtanium then anywhere else. So, to get the unobtanium, the people working there has created some kind of clones of the Na'Vi. The clones are creatures called avatar's and are created by DNA from the Na'Vi mixed with the DNA of humans. With special techniques, these avatar bodies can be controlled by the person who's DNA is in the avatar. Jake and his brother has the same DNA, so Jake can use his brother's avatar, which makes things easier for the scientists.

Jake is supposed to get to learn the Na'Vi and gain their trust to make them move from the place where they live so that man can get the unobtanium. But when Jake starts to learn about the Na'Vi, he begins to wonder who the real enemy is...

Before I saw this movie, my thoughts about it were: "This is probably pretty entertaining, but also kind of weird and to science fiction-y for me". I was right about that it's entertaining. It's extremely entertaining. James Cameron's right; this is a movie that you want to go and see. The Na'Vi is so extremly wonderfully created that you lose your breath when you watch this movie. Really takes your breath away. I was wrong about this being to weird etc. It's not. If you have some fantasy, you'll probably love this. I did. I was totally enchanted by it. It looks amazing. The flying mountains, the Na'Vi, the lights of the plants in the night, the animals, the water, the cliffs, the trees (especially the Sacred Tree) and everything else as well.

It doesn't take more then a few seconds to hate the stupid and evil men who's just thinking of money. They doesn't care if they ruin an innocent planet or the people or trees on it. That's the type of people who doesn't deserve to live, at least not as long as they go on as they do.

The music by James Horner is splended and gives you goose bumps while hearing the lovely and beautiful melodies created for this movie. If you liked the music of "Titanic", you'll probably like this as well. When the Na'Vi princess Neytiri (Zoë Seldana) is flying around the tree tops to show Jake how to act like a Na'Vi, the music grabs you with such strength that the only thing you can do is to sit, staring at the screen and let yourself being filled with the beautiful music.I have so much to say about this movie that I could go on forever. Luckily for you, I won't. Just a little more. Just a little.

James Cameron seems to like putting hundreds of millions into his movie productions. The result is stunning and breathtaking, but will it be a success? I hope that it will be. Maybe not like "Titanic", but at least so successful that it will earn enough money to not be a flop. It would be really sad if it would...

I strongly recommend this movie to everyone with some imagination. If you can't imagine that this could be possible, not even a bit, then you're not the right person to see it. But please, see it because otherwise you'll have no idea of what you're missing.

Freddie Highmore stars in two roles in the this movie. 2008. Director: Mark Waters.

The identical twins Simon and Jared Grace (Freddie Highmore, both roles) moves to a lonely house in a forest with their mother (Mary-Louise Parker) and their older sister Mallory (Sarah Bolger). The Grace children doesn't want to live there, but their mother has decided that they must give it a chance.

Jared hates it in the house and he wants to go to his father, who's not living with them any longer. The divorced Mrs. Grace doesn't want Jared to think so loving thoughts of his father. Jared then finds a secret room in the house, where a book by the former owner of the house, Arthur Spiderwick (David Straithairn), is hidden. When Jared opens the book, a new adventure begins.

Freddie Highmore who stars as both Simon and Jared in the movie makes this movie much more worth seeing. He plays the roles with great talent and it's easy to see that he's the best actor in this movie. Even though he's not old, only 14 when shooting, he's a good actor.

A bad thing which makes this movie a bit less touching and all, is that there's way to much visual effects by computers. It feels like nothing is real. You can almost always easily see what's made by computer and what's real. Here, it's like 80% is fake. That makes it less interesting. You could almost call it an animated movie.

This movie is not so especially deep, almost not at all I would say. It's a movie for children who's around 10 years old or so. It's based on the children's books by Holly Black and Tony Di'Terlizzi, so I seriously doubt that it's made for adults who thinks that fantasy like this is too childish.

Charlie Bucket (Freddie Highmore) is a very poor boy living in a ramshackle little house near Willy Wonka's (Johnny Depp) huge factory of candy and chocolate. Charlie's dream is to visit the factory. When Wonka announces a contest to let five people come and visit his factory, Charlie feels that his dream can come true.

Five Golden Tickets are placed inside five chocolate bars, which are then sent to five random stores around the world. Noboy knows where. So, people buy tons of chocolate bars, hoping to get a ticket. Charlie, who has no money but a penny or so, feels that he's never going to win.

This movie is really fun and very entertaining not only for children but adults as well. Tim Burton has done a great work with this story. But it wouldn't have been as good as it is without the splended Johnny Depp who's really amazing in his role as the odd Willy Wonka.

This movie is like no other. It's very special but not so weird that it becomes a bad movie. It's a great movie with humour, music and exotic locations in the 007 studio where it's shot.

A long time ago in China, the Dragon Emperor (Jet Li) was the leader of the greatest army of all time, and he was very powerful. But he wanted more. He wanted to become imortal. The old but beautiful witch, Zi Yuan (Michelle Yeoh), can help him. But when he kills her love, general Ming (Russell Wong), she curses him and his army to become burned alive and trapped inside shells of terracotta.

Later, in 1946, Alex O'Connell (Luke Ford) and some others locate the tomb of the Dragon Emperor. His parents (Brendan Fraser and Maria Bello) are living a silent, and very boring, life in England. But when they are persuaded to take a magic thing called The Eye of Shangri La to Shanghai, the adventure begins.

This movie is entertaining, but sometimes to stupid to be good. The scenes where Rick and Evy lives in England are really funny, and then there's some moments in Shanghai where you can laugh a bit. But after that, it's not so very funny anymore.

Jackie Chan is really funny, and performs great stunts in his movies. Jet Li do great stunts too, but he's extremely boring. A real killjoy. He's a terrible actor and the without any talents as a comedian or as an actor, his stunts are not very entertaining to watch.

The fact that Luke Ford is just 13 years younger then Brendan Fraser, who's playing his father, is a bit disturbing. They should have chosen another actor to play Alex O'Connell. Luke Ford doesn't feel right. He's not convincing as the caracter.

I feel a bit sad because Rachel Weisz didn't want to return as Evy in this movie. Maria Bello is not near being as good as Weisz. They're not so very alike. Not in the way that they act on screen, or how they look. But it's nice that John Hannah is starring here too, because he's really funny.

A long, long time ago, the Scorpion King (Dwayne Johnson) almost died in the desert after a big fight with some enemies. To revenge, he swore an oath the god of the underworld, Anubis. With the help of Anubis, he became very powerful buth when all of his enemies were defeated, Anubis took the soul of the Scorpion King, as he had promised before.

Much later, in 1933, the now married couple Evy (Rachel Weisz) and Rick (Brendan Fraser) are exploring a pyramide with their son, Alex (Freddie Boath). They find the Bracelet of Anubis. Back home in London, Alex puts it on, and then he has only seven days to get to the oasis of the Scorpion King, created by Anubis. But it's all getting much more difficult when the evil Imhotep (Arnold Vosloo) is brought back to life, and kidnapping Alex.

This movie is as good as the first one, until the weird scenes with the Scorpion King and all that arrive. It's just too wicked. The visual effects are not good enough for being made in 2001. Just like the third movie in the series, the effects are not of the same quality as the ones in, for an example; King Kong.

But still, this movie is entertaining and if that's what you're looking for, then this is to recommend. But if you're not the type of person who likes unrealistic adventure stories, then don't bother seeing this. I think that entertaining movies can be good, as long as they're not a total mess of bad actors and a stupid plot.

John Hannah is very funny, but's except for him, the humour isn't at it's best here. But this is the kind of movie that you can watch at the theatre and find entertaining and good then, but it's not the type of movie that you recommend if you're going to see a "quality" movie. It's not the smartest movie ever, but it's still entertaining (as I've been repeating over and over again).

Linnet Ridgeway (Lois Chiles) is a very wealthy young woman who takes what she wants and leaves the rest. When her best friend, Jackie (Mia Farrow) introduces her beloved fiancé, Simon Doyle (Simon MacCorkindale), to Linnet, she's not slow in getting married to Simon.

The newlyweds Mr and Mrs Doyle travel to Egypt on their honeymoon, but they are not left alone. Jackie follows them everywhere. The friendship with Linnet is gone forever, and when Linnet is found death in her cabin on board of the boat they're all traveling with, Jackie is the suspect. But is that the truth?

I read the book by the Queen of Crime, Agatha Christie, before seeing the movie, so I knew who murdered Linnet all along. But when you saw it, it didn't really matter. It was really exiting anyway. Really mysterious and awfully exiting when you wonder who the murderer can be.

It's such a marvelous plot and it's all made so that you have no clue of who it can be. That's what's so good about Agatha Christie's stories. Suspense and always a completely unexpected ending. I read a whole bunch of her books during summer this year and found them very good. Maybe not all of them, but some are real masterpieces.

Things that are a little bit irritating is that in the book, Linnet is blond and Jackie dark-haired. In the movie, Linnet has some kind of darker type of brown hair and Jackie is red-haired. I didn't find so irritating that I couldn't watch the movie, oh no. I'm not that kind of person.

Mia Farrow is really good in her role. I think that she's almost too skinny to not be a copy of a catwalk model, but she's a cute actress and her way of acting is really good so it doesn't matter too much. But both Lois Chiles and Mia Farrow wears some dresses which show so much skin that you wonder if it's so probable to the reality back in the 30's...

Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) has been dreaming the same nightmare, over and over again. His friends, Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson), are both worried for him. When they all go to the World Cup of Quidditch, the Death Eaters arrive and causes serious problems.

They return to Hogwarts, where the Triwizard Tournament is to be held for students at the age of 17. It's a very dangerous competition, where people has died before. Being only 14, Harry is mysteriously chosen as a fourth champion. The one who got him into it must have wanting Harry to die, or is something even worse happening?

When I saw this at the theatre, there were all of these posters all around and I just couldn't wait to sit down and watch the movie as it started. And when it did, I loved from the first second. So full of magic, so splended and so entertaining.

Harry, Ron and Hermione are getting older and the changing feelings that you have when you're a teenager makes the friends both fighting and showing new feelings to people. Harry gets a mayor crush on the sweet Cho Chang (Katie Leung), but is hurt when she's going out with another champion, Cedric (Robert Pattison).

This movie contains sweet scenes where Harry tries to control his feelings for Cho, scenes where Ron expresses real embarrasment and exiting scenes where Harry has to fight for his life in the dangerous challenges which he must survive.

Hogwarts is moer magical then ever before and you feel as if you were walking around in the great castle, flying on a broom and attending to the entertaining ball where you can see the great hall as never before. This is true magic.

The fake psychic, Blanche (Barbara Harris), is told by a customer, the rich and old Julia Rainbird (Cathleen Nesbitt), that Blanche will get 10 000 dollars if she can find Julia's sister's son who was given up for adoption for a long time ago.

Julia wants to make this man her heir and Blanche agrees to help, 10 000 is a lot of money. But what Blanche didn't expect was to get involved in a mystery of thiefs and kidnappers.

This movie isn't bad at all, but it's not near Hitchcock's earlier masterpieces; Notorious, Vertigo, Psycho and some others. This hasn't fully got that suspense which he is so famous for. But as I said, not bad at all.

It's entertaining, but never so exiting that you must hold breath because it's so exiting. Not like that, unfortunately. It's kind of... more soft and not too deep. The caracters aren't that interesting and touching as Scottie in Vertigo, Norman in Psycho, Mrs De Winter in Rebecca and Gregory Peck's caracter in Spellbound.

Barbara Harris is best in this movie. She's most interesting and her caracter is both stupid and funny, but also rather clever, sometimes. It's Hitchcock's last picture. I wish that it would have been more to remember. If he would have ended his inspiring and marvelous career in movie business.

Hitchcock was the best director of all time, and still is. Even though he's dead. But he's still remembered and has inspired so many people, including me, to love film and the making of it. Maybe he was kind of snobby and so, but as the master of suspense, he has lots and lots of fans worldwide, including me.

Very unpleasant story about a mad raper in London. 1972. Director: Alfred Hitchcock.

An unknown man has raped and strangled several innocent women in London. The notorious distinguisting feature is that the victims have all been strangled with a tie. Nobody is safe as long as the killer on the loose.

Richard Blaney (Jon Finch) is a man with not much money and not many friends. One of the friends he got is the cocky Robert Rusk (Barry Foster). But what Richard has no clue of, is that Robert is the raper and murderer. When Richard is accused for raping and strangling his friend, Brenda (Barbara Leigh-Hunt), he has to find out the truth before it's too late.

This movie contains some really unpleasant scenes, such as the horrifying rape-scene. I was filled with such hate against that awful Robert Rusk when I saw that scene. He's a monster, really. Not worthy to live.

Barry Foster who's playing Rusk is probably not like the caracter, but I can't help thinking that maybe he is. He's very convincing as Rusk, which makes it all even more unpleasant. The caracter is so scary and awful that you just want to grab a gun and shoot him or something...

I'm not what you would call fond of the style of this movie. The style of the decade. 70's isn't famous for having lovely clothes, that's what I think. It also seems like a time of a mess of drugs and negative freedom. Dirty in some way. I like it more when it's clean...

Slow and disapointing. Not starring any really famous actor or actress. 1969. Director: Alfred Hitchcock.

Someone is leaking information to the Soviet Union about what a defected KGB-agent has told the French Intelligence Service. Someone in the French Intelligence Service is a mole. Who?

When I was sitting in the living room, ready to watch a Hitchcock movie, I was expecting something exiting. Something thrilling. Something with suspense! But what do I get? A boring movie which isn't touching or thrilling at all.

It was really a disapointment. I hate to say that about a movie of the greatest director of all time, but that's how it is. It would be a lie to say the opposite. It's too long too. I thought that it would never end.

One of the worst things is that I never cared about any of the caracters. In all of the other Hitchcock movies I've seen, I had feelings about the caracters. They were interesting. But none of the caracters in this movie is. It's really sad that it's like that, but I can't do anything about that.

That there's no famous actors or actresses doesn't have to mean that the movie is bad, but very often it actually does. This movie has no actors that I really know anything about, no actresses either. The only one is Karin Dor who played an evil woman in You only live twice. But she's not really famous...

Torn Curtain

Paul Newman and Julie Andrews stars in this political thriller. 1966. Director: Alfred Hitchcock.

The esteemed american physicist and rocket scientist Michael Armstrong (Paul Newman) and his assistant and fiancée, Sarah Sherman (Julie Andrews), are to attend to a conference in Copenhagen. Michael starts acting mysteriously.

Michael then fly to East Berlin, when Sarah believes that he's really went to Stockholm. She follows him to Berlin, thinking that he has defected to East Berlin. Micheal isn't as he used to be. He's very strange. What's really going on, and is there something bigger then him defecting happening?

Julie Andrews, who "usually" starred in sweet musicals, is really good here. She's not just a singing governess in the Alps. She's an adult, talented actress who can act in thrillers too.

Paul Newman is, of course, great in his role. He's a terrific actor, even if he and Hitchcock argued about the script and such. You can't really notice it in the movie, which is great. Newman didn't come from the same generation as actors like Cary Grant and James Stewart. Newman questioned the script and such, which wasn't appreciated by Hitchcock.

The scene where Michael Armstrong and a woman murders a man would have been much better if it would have had Bernard Herrmans great music too it. I saw the version with music after watching the movie, and the one with music was much better. More exitement.

Marnie

Tippi Hedren and Sean Connery stars in this psychological thriller. 1964. Director: Alfred Hitchcock.

Marnie Edgar (Tippi Hedren) is a woman with an unnatural fear of men, thunderstorms and the color red. She's also a bit of a kleptomaniac. As if that weren't enough, she changes her looks and give false identity pretty often.

She gets her self employed at a company, steals the money that the company has in a safe, and then leave. But even though she may call herself Margaret Edgar or Mary Taylor, she's still Marnie. The same troubled Marnie.

When Mark Rutland (Sean Connery), the owner of a large printing company, recognizes Marnie as a thief from another office, he blackmails her into marrying him after tracking her down when she has robbed him too. But her phobia is causing great trouble, how long will it take before she'll try to end it all?

Because I don't find Tippi Hedren so especially good as an actress, which is also the case here, this movie isn't as good as it could have been. Sean Connery is good enough to make this movie more thrilling then it would have been with a less interesting actor.

Sometimes, I don't understand where this movie will lead. What's the thing that has to be solved? But in the end, it's rather exiting. Not the the church tower scene in Vertigo, but exiting enough considering the earlier parts in the movie.

Melanie Daniels (Tippi Hedren) is the spoilt daughter of a rich man owning a large newspaper. She comes to an animal store to get a mynah bird that she have ordered. It hasn't come, but during waiting for the cashier to make a phone call, she meet the handsome Mitch Brenner (Rod Taylor).

He's looking for some lovebirds, and pretending to think that Melanie is an employee at the store, he makes her helping him looking for them. Melanie then learns that he's joking, but after seeing him leave, she decides to get him some lovebirds and give them to him.

She goes to Bodega Bay, a small town at the coast. But when the town, which is usually a quiet little town, is attacked by birds, Melanie, Mitch and the others there has to fight for their lives. What's the reason for these attackings?

That last question is never answered in the movie. That's really bad because if you never find out why it's happening, it's not so very interesting. If there's a war, you want to know why. Why is the most interesting question in the world. 'Why' is what we care about.

Tippi Hedren is really a terrible actress. She can hardly act and it's obvious that nobody could have chosen her for the part only for her acting skills. She's very good-looking, but that's not everything that matters in this world.

I'm very irritated of that in this movie, all women seems totally helpless against the birds. Melanie always screams: "Mitch, do something!". Can't she do anything on her own. It's the same with all other women. Really irritating.

Psycho

The best horror movie ever made, and maybe the best movie by Hitchcock. 1960. Director: Alfred Hitchcock.

To be able to marry her beloved boyfriend, Sam Loomis(John Gavin), the good-looking Marion Crane (Janet Leigh) steals 40 000 dollars and then flees Phoenix where she lives. She feels guilt and becomes scared of what her boss and everyone else will think.

But she doesn't turn back and return the money. Nothing will stop her from going to Sam and marry him. But then she didn't know of the Bates Motel or the owner, Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins), or his mysterious mother...

This is one of the very few horror movies I've ever seen. But this movie isn't a stupid, disgusting piece of crap which most horror movie today are. This movie is done very nicely. It's dark, scary... and filled with suspense.

I'm not a fan of horror movies, especially not the ones made today. But I love this movie. Even if I find it very scary in some scenes, it's still not just a movie with scenes just made to scare you. The cinematography is great.

This could have been made in colour, but I think that it's splended in black and white. Everything becomes darker and the exitement increases. Shadows, darkness and horror. That's scary.

Anthony Perkins is marvelous as Norman Bates. His eyes, voice and way of acting. It's all perfect for the role. Maybe not like the Norman Bates in the book on which this movie is based on, but as the Norman Bates in this movie. Perkins is really radiating real talant.

North by Northwest

Cary Grant stars and runs from an airplane in this exiting movie. 1959. Director: Alfred Hitchcock.

Roger O. Thornhill (Cary Grant) is kidnapped by two henchmen and brought to the creepy Phillip Vandamm (James Mason). Vandamm thinks that Roger is a man really named George Kaplan, which is totally wrong.

Vandamm orders to kill Roger after thinking that Roger is lying about being Kaplan. Roger manages to survive and when he's then trying to find out what it was all about, he's dragged into a world with spies, dangerous traitors and charming women such as the mysterious Eve Kendall (Eva Marie Saint).

This movie is a bit overrated. It's really good, but I don't find it so extremely exiting. A bit too slow. I've seen movies from the 30's and so on, but even though I usually not find them slow, I can't help thinking that this is a bit slow. Sad but true.

Cary Grant is way too old for Eva Marie Saint. It's almost disgusting. An old man with a much younger woman. It's her choice, but still, disgusting. That's not good for the grade.

The best scene in this movie is the chase on Mount Rushmore. Even if they didn't really shoot it there, it's still cool. Thatis what makes some movies more memorable then others. Cool scenes. Scenes that you'll remember.

Vertigo

After hanging from a roof top and seeing a police falling to the ground and dying, John "Scottie" Ferguson (James Stewart) starts suffering from vertigo every time he's looking down from hights. This makes him quit his job as a detective.

But when a man with whom Scottie went to college with, Gavin Elster (Tom Helmore), asks for his help, Scottie agrees to help. Gavin wants Scottie to follow his wife, Madeleine (Kim Novak), who's been acting very strange. Gavin is afraid that she'll kill herself.

When he's following her, Scottie learns that Madeleine is obsessed with a dead woman called Carlotta Valdes who died a long time ago. Madeleine visits Carlottas grave, old home and a musuem where a painting of her is hanging. What's the secret that Madeleine is hiding?

This movie is amazing. Absolutely amazing. James Stewart is maybe a bit too old, but I don't care. He's so good in this movie that it doesn't matter if he's looking a bit too old for Kim Novak who's a young beauty with dark secrets in this movie.

When I saw this movie for the first time, I found it absolutely amazing, and I still do. Almost every little scene in this movie is perfect. Creates suspense. When you think that's everything is solved, then it all turns and the exitement increases.

Scottie's obsession is really unpleasant sometimes because you don't know if he's mad or smart. Kim Novak is good in her part as the confused Madeleine, or is Madeleine really Madeleine? Psychological thriller filled with suspense. Also contains the cool dolly zoom that creates a feeling of vertigo for the people watching the movie.

Arn - The Knight Templar

Arn - The Temple Knight

Swedish epic movie about a knight. 2007. Director: Peter Flinth.

Arn Magnusson (Joakim Nätterqvist) grow up in a monastery after surviving a fall from a tower. He's parents believed that god had saved their son, and to thank him they put their little boy in a monastery. Brother Guilbert (Vincent Perez) helps him on the way to become a man.

When Arn leave the monastery, he's a good warrior, but very naive. He meet the lovely Cecilia (Sofia Helin) who becomes pregnant with his child. This is a very serious crime, to get pregnant with a man who she's not married to. So they are both ordered to do 20 years of penance.

This movie is all right, but I wouldn't say that it's a masterpiece. The environments are nice but the movie is too long and unfortunately, too boring. The parts in Jerusalem are just weird and doesn't fit in. First, there's lovely woods and then a desert. Maybe it sounds weird that I find it not fitting in, but when I ssaw the movie, I just thought so.

Horrible, stupid comedy with Adam Sandler. 2008. Director: Dennis Dugan.

The iraelian soldier Zohan Dvir (Adam Sandler) wants to be a hairdresser rather then a soldier. So he fakes his own death and then travel to New York to become what he always wanted to be.

This movie is one of the worst movies I've ever forced myself to not turn off and throw into the waste basket and never ever pick up again. But I unfortunately saw it at a cinema, and it's not for free so it would be a waste to leave.

I've always hated Adam Sandler's movies. I have (of unknown reason) seen two or three. Or maybe one and a half because I always find them so bad that I don't bother to watch the intire movie. I haven't met him so I won't say anything about him as a person, but his movies are some of the worst in the world.

The jokes are stupid and just pointless. His caracter in the movie is disgusting and stupid, and I just can't stand it. I would never have seen this movie if it wasn't because a morning paper critic said in a review that it was funny.

But now I've seen and then I can warn you from seeing this. If you didn't see this movie, then you'd spare yourself some time of nothing but dislike. It's a waste of time to see this. So, now I've just been writing how much I dislike this movie. One good thing: the colors are bright which I like. That's the good thing. The bad things have you probably read already.

Winnie Foster (Alexis Bledel) is a rich girl. A very rich girl. She's not very happy because she's living a life as a prisoner in the rich family's home. Her dream is to be free, free from a strict life.

One day, she runs into the forest and meet the cute Jesse Tuck (Jonathan Jackson). After a missunderstanding with Jesse's older brother Miles (Scott Bairstow), Winnie's taken to the cottage where the Tuck family is living. Winnie then learns that they'll live forever because that they have drank from a secret spring.

Winnie and Jesse fall in love, but he's really much older then she could ever imagine. But their love is impossible, because she'll get older every day, while he stays the same forever. Will Winnie drink from the spring too so that she can stay with her new love forever?

This movie is cute and not bad, but not very special which makes it easy to forget. Some scenes are very beautiful, but it's still not one of those movies that you'll remember as easy as some others. I haven't forget any movie I've seen so far, but you never know in 20 years...

Everything in this movie is created very well and sweet. But it's not as special or splended as you'll might wish. Some people probably think that this is the best movie in the world, there's always people who thinks that about almost every movie ever made. But I don't see this movie as something like that. It's not bad, but it's never exiting and it's supposed to the touching, but I didn't think that it was.

The Wrong Man

Manny Balestrero (Henry Fonda) is a musician at a night club in New York. He and his wife Rose (Vera Miles) are very poor and when Rose is forced to go to the dentist, which doesn't come cheap, Manny has to go to the insurance company to get money from their insurance.

But at the office, Manny is recognized as an armed robber. He's totally innocent, but the police and everyone else are all sure that he's the robber. The following days Manny has to fight against the police, to prove his innocense. But it's not just going to be that easy when Rose feels terribly miserable because of what's happening.

This movie is touching, but too slow. It's not like any usual Hitchcock movie. I expected exitement, which this movie doesn't contain at all. Henry Fonda and Vera Miles are both very good in their roles. But because I was kind of expecting more exitement.

But I can't judge this movie as if it should have been as thrilling as the "normal" Hitchcock movies. So as a drama movie, it's good. But still a bit too slow. The ending is not too touching, and you don't have that much interest left then...

Ben McKenna (James Stewart), his wife Jo (Doris Day) and his little son Hank (Christopher Olsen) are visiting Marocco on their vacation. They meet the mysterious Louis Bernard (Daniel Gelin) with whom Ben becomes some kind of friend.

But Jo becomes suspicious and thinks that Louis is hiding something. Later, the McKennas meets another couple on vacation, the Draytons (Bernard Miles and Brenda De Banzie). They become friends and have a great time together.

But the following day, when they're all visiting a market in Marrakesh, a man is chased and then stabbed. Just before dying, the man approaches Ben and is revealed as Louis Bernard. He wisperers his last words to Ben; someone is going to be killed.

The Draytons says that they can take Hank to the hotel so that he doesn't have to be there as the police arrive and wants to ask questions. But when Ben and Jo gets to the hotel later, they find Hank gone. He has been kidnapped!

This movie is rather good, but sometimes a bit too slow. The plot is good, but it's not exiting enough. Doris Day isn't as bad as I first thought that she would be in her role. She's really good actually. A good actress who can cry and all of that and make it look real.

James Stewart seems to be a bit too old to have a son in Hank's age, but he's still a splended actor. Maybe if he would have been a bit younger here, then he would have been more convinsing as the father of a child.

High Fidelity

Rob Gordon (John Cusack) is a man obsessed with music. He owns a record store called Championship Vinyl where he spend his days with the two employees Barry (Jack Black) and Dick (Todd Louiso). Especially Barry seems to think that he's so much smarter then everyone else, which makes him very irritating.

Rob's girlfriend Laura (Iben Hjejle) has just left him. He starts thinking of what he's doing wrong. Of some reason, he always gets dumped. So he decides to visit all of his "Top-5"-most rememberable break-ups.

He's trying to get Laura back, but it's not going so well. Especially not when she has moved in with the odd man Ian (Tim Robbins). Will Rob ever face his own weaknesses and win Laura back?

This movie is fun and entertaining. Even though I'm rather interested in music, I didn't know of every single singer or group that they mention in this movie. But that's not such an especially big problem.

John Cusack is great in his role and he's really funny even though I can find he's caracter rather smug and sometimes I think that he's an idiot. But apart from that, he's a caracter that you can care about.

Jack Black's caracter is so extremely irritating sometimes that I would like to hit him in the face. But I can't, so I just got to forget about it, it's just a caracter in a movie. But I wonder if Jack Black isn't a bit like the caracter in real life...

One day in fall, a little boy finds a dead man on a hill in the country. The people in the village then tries to come up with an idea of how to hide the body and find out who killed the man and who it is.

This movie is a movie that I find completely pathetic. The first time I saw it I didn't understand which genre this movie belonged to. I then read that it was a comedy, but I didn't understand that when I saw it. It wasn't funny, not even one time.

It was boring all through, every second of the picture. A waste of my life. But I can't stop seeing a Hitchcock-movie if I've started seeing it. That would be even worse because then I wouldn't be able to review it. Now I can do that, and all I need to tell you is that it's boring and it doesn't make any sense at all!

I adore Hitchcock's way of making movies and I think that he's like a magician in moviemaking. He's the master of suspense and the best director ever, but unfortunately, this movie isn't good at all. It's simply bad.

John Robie (Cary Grant) is called "The Cat" for his carrier as a jewel thief. He has now retired and live a quiet life in the south of France. But one day, the police arrive, trying to arrest him for some robberys that has taken place recently.

John is innocent and manages to escape the police. He's then planning to catch the real thief to prove himself innocent. But when he meet the gorgeous, rich and much younger Francie (Grace Kelly), it's all going to be harder then he thought.

This movie is really boring and slow. It could have been exiting, but it's not. Cary Grant is too old and his relationship to Grace Kelly in this movie is just stupid and I think that it's kind of disgusting. He's really too old. It's all just weird.

Jeff (James Stewart) is a professional photographer who has broken a leg and has to spend his days in a wheelchair. He passes the the time spying on his neighbours from his apartment in Greenwich Village.

Every day, he's visited by a home care nurse named Stella (Thelma Ritter). His young girlfriend Lisa Fremont (Grace Kelly) also visit him, even if she doesn't do that every day. She's madly in love with him but Jeff sometimes think that their relationship is incompatible.

One night, Jeff sees what he believes is a murder. He's 100% sure that his neighbour is a murderer, but sitting in his wheelchair, there's not much he can to then keep spying and hope to find proof. But will Jeff be able to prove that he's right before getting exposed by the suspected killer?

This thriller is really exiting and a real masterpiece. It's really a spine-tingling thriller. Filled with suspense. When Grace Kelly is sneaking around in the neighbours apartment, you can't help biting your nails in the exitement.

Just like some other movies that I've seen with Grace Kelly, she's mostly walking around wearing different dresses and such. It's like she's more like a model for clothes then an actress. But she's not a bad actress either, she's just not as good as you might could think because she's so famous.

James Stewart is great, just like in 99% of his movies. He's really a splended actor. This movie wouldn't have been as good as it is without him as Jeff. His way of acting is perfect for this role.

Tony Wendice (Ray Milland) is a man who's married the gorgeous Margot (Grace Kelly) mostly for her money. They live in London and seems to be the perfect married couple. But everything isn't as it seems.

Margot has had an affair with the writer Mark Halliday (Robert Cummings). But when Mark went to the U.S. Margot returned to a life with Tony. But she doesn't know that Tony's aware of her affair.

Tony plans to murder her so that he can get all of her money and become a wealthy man. But will he succeed and get his wife killed, or will he get caught?

This movie takes mostly place in the couple's apartment. It's a smart story and it's done very good. But it can sometimes be a bit slow. I've never seen Grace Kelly as a splended actress and she's not unusually good here. She mostly walk around in gorgeous clothes.

Guy Haines (Farley Granger) is an amateur tennis star who wants to divorce his mean and selfish wife Miriam (Kasey Rogers) so that he can get married to his true love Anne Morton (Ruth Roman) who's a rich and beautiful woman.

On the train, Guy meet the charming and clever, but psychopathic, Bruno Anthony (Robert Walker). After talking about Guy's troubles with Miriam, Bruno comes up with a suggestion, a mad suggestion.

Bruno says that they can "switch murders". If Bruno murders Miriam, and Guy murders Bruno's father. Guy finds this idea silly and he doesn't take it seriously. But when Bruno comes to him some time later and tells him that he has murdered Miriam, Guy has to take serious action against this madman.

This movie is really good and contains the right ingredients for a perfect murder story. The cinematography is great, the actors are good and the murder is awfully terrifying but also entertaining. That sounds mad, but you can't deny that murder in movies can be very entertaining. As long as it's not real.

Robert Walker is very good as the scary but charming Bruno. He's obviously mad but he's way of being is not like someone who's completely mad. He's polite and clever, but still not normal. The caracter makes this movie very exiting.

Rope

On a late afternoon in their apartment, Brandon Shaw (John Dall) and Phillip Morgan (Farley Granger) strangle their former classmate David Kentley (Dick Hogan). They then hid the body in a large wooden chest.

They then arrange a party for some people that knew David. The guests have no idea of that the two men hosting the party has killed their friend David. And they have certainly not a clue of that their dead friend is hidden in the chest on which the food is served.

But will Brandon and Phillip be able to not expose themselves as murderers? The night is long and with their idol, Rupert Cadall (James Stewart) there, will they succeed or get caught?

This film could have been more exiting then it is. Because it's shot as just one long shot, it's taken place in real time. That makes it a bit slow sometimes, but it's still pretty exiting. But never so filled with exitement that it should have been.

I can find it a bit irritating that Hitchcock had to zoom in the persons backs evertime there would have to be a cut. To make it look like a long shot. It's not something that bothers me through the whole picture, but it's irritating enough to comment.

Something I really like about this movie is the apartment where it's shot. It's a nice home and creates the right feeling for the movie. The big windows are great too. That's something that you should know before seeing this movie.

Alicia Hubermann (Ingrid Bergman) is the daughter a nazi spy who's recruited by the goverment agent T. R. Devlin (Cary Grant) to infiltrate a group of germans in Brasil. At first, she doesn't want to, but she's persuaded by the very handsome Devlin.

She falls in love with him, but even though he's attracted to her, he doesn't seem to really love her truly because of his knowledge of her wild past. But when he has to tell her that her mission is to seduce her father's friend and member of the german group, Alex Sebastian (Claude Rains), Devlin chooses to act as if he has no feelings for her. Duty over love.

Alicia thinks that he doesn't love her any longer and marries Alex to be able to know more about the work of him and the others in the group. But if Alex learns what she really is, a spy for the government, he'll kill her.

This movie is very exiting and has that suspense that Hitchcock is the master of creating. Ingrid Bergman is very good in this movie. Cary Grant is good too, but I must say that Ingrid Bergman is a bit more convincing in her role then Cary Grant.

There's a very 'hot' scene in this film where Hitchcock has shot it so that it isn't cut. That creates a strong feeling for what's happening on the screen.

This is a very good movie and it's one of the most exiting movies by Hitchcock. Also Claude Rains is very good in his role as the onpleasant Alex Sebastian.

Dr. Constance Petersen (Ingrid Bergman) is a psychoanalyst at a mental hospital and the only female doctor. The other doctors find her emotionless and detached.

When the director of the hospital is forced to retire, the much younger Dr. Anthony Edwardes (Gregory Peck) replaces him. Constance and Anthony fall in love very quickly but she realizes that he's hiding something.

After comparing handwriting, Constance learns that the man that she has fallen in love with is an imposter. He confesses that he killed the real Dr. Edwardes, but is that really true? Constance doesn't want to believe him because she's sure that he's wrong.

He's suffering from a massive amnesia but one thing that Constance can be sure of about his past is that he experienced something that gave him a great phobia of dark lines on a white background. What happened that gave him amnesia, and is he's not the real murderer, who is?

I just got to say that Gregory Peck is absolutely marvelous in this movie. A great actor. Ingrid Bergman is also very good, but Gregory Peck is the one that I noticed as the best actor in this particular movie.

There's a scene in this film by Salvador Dalí, but I can't see why it's so much to talk about. You can understand that he has done it, but it's not like I find it to be such a masterpiece as some people seem to think. I like Hitchcock more.

Charlotte Newton (Theresa Wright) is called Charlie, just like her dear uncle Charlie Oakley (Joseph Cotten). He's her mother's brother and the young Charlie becomes very happy when she hears that he'll come for a visit.

The whole family Newton meet uncle Charlie at the train station and then they return to their home where he'll stay for a while. They're all very happy, especially young Charlie who's very, very fond of her uncle.

But when two men, saying they're reporters, arrive to the house and says that they're working on a story about a normal American family, the real trouble begins. One of the men, Jack (Macdonald Carey), tells young Charlie that they're really detectives and that they suspect uncle Charlie for being a serial killer...

This movie is often very exiting but never really so exiting that it takes you're breath away. That would be a lie to say that it does. But it's still really good and exiting enough to make you interested every second of the picture.

Joseph Cotten is good as uncle Charlie, he creates the right feeling for the movie. Theresa Wright is also good as the young Charlie. Edna May Wonacott, who plays young Charlie's little sister Ann, is what I would call; extremely irritating and a bit precocious. I find her very irritating, so it's good for me that I don't have a sister like that...

Saboteur

During World War II, there's a fire in an aircraft factory which causes the death of a friend to the factory worker Barry Kane (Robert Cummings). Barry is accused for starting the fire, but he knows that it was a man that he only knows as Fry (Norman Lloyd).

Barry is chased by the police that thinks that he's the guitly man for the fire. But Barry knows that it was Fry, so starts chasing him hoping to get to him before being caught himself. Will he make it?

This Hitchcock picture is sometimes incoherent which makes it a bit boring, because when you don't understand what's happening, it's not so especially fun. It's not a bad movie at all, but not always what I would call a cliffhanger.

The scenes at the Statue of Liberty are pretty cool even though it sometimes looks faked. But I can be indulgent about that, I don't expect that they would really shoot it up there.

Suspicion

This Hitchcock movie is filled with suspense, until the lousy end... 1941. Director: Alfred Hitchcock.

The orderly Lina (Joan Fontaine) meet the charming Johnnie Aysgarth (Cary Grant) and he totally sweeps her off her feet and soon after, they get married. Lina is madly in love with her dear husband, but she can't help feeling doubt when she realizes that Johnnie is a gambler.

She's terrifyed when he tells her that he haven't got any money. She used to live a rich life, now she's living with a man that one day can be rich, and the other day without a single penny.

Lina also starts being afraid of him as she suspects that he's a murderer. She doesn't trust him, and every day she becomes more and more frightened that he will might assassinate her to get her money. Is this the truth or is it just imagination?

This film is really good and you can feel that it's a Hitchcock picture. It contains the suspense, the charm and great cinematography by Harry Stradling Jr. You can understand what Lina is feeling and it's sometimes very exiting.

But then, the ending comes. That's where everything is destroyed. The movie could have been so good, but this is such a pathetic ending that the earlier parts of the movie are forgotten when this awful ending changes everything. Sad that Hitchcock didn't get the ending that he really wanted, because it's obvious that this wasn't what Hitchcock had wanted it to be.

Foreign Correspondent

Thriller during World War II. 1940. Director: Alfred Hitchcock.

Johnny Jones (Joel McCrea) is a reporter who has to become a foreign correspondent and write about what's going on in Europe where the war is killing people everyday. Johnny calls himself Huntley Hverstock when he's writing, too keep his real name secret.

For a first assignment, 'Huntley' will meet Stephen Fisher (Herbert Marshall) who's holding a party in honour of the Dutch diplomat 'Van Meer' (Albert Bassermann). But the diplomat then has to attend at a conference, so he doesn't attend to the party held in his honour.

But at the conference, Van Meer is shot by a man disguised as a photographer. Huntley is then dragged into a storm of mystery and secrets with british agents, powerful enemies and a war tearing Europe in pieces not far away.

This film is good and really worth seeing. The scenes where Huntley and some others escapes from a sinking plane reminds me very much of Titanic. Maybe not the famous movie, but the real ship. Must have cost a lot to produce that plane-scene. This film is exiting and you should see it.

Edythe van Hopper (Florence Bates) is spending time in Monte Carlo for some time with her paid companion (Joan Fontaine) to accompany her. The handsome widower Maxim de Winter (Laurence Olivier) arrives to the same place, and he fall in love with the young woman who accompany the chatty Edythe.

Soon, Maxim marries this girl, who's from then called Mrs. de Winter. He brings her to his country house in Cornwall, the big house called Manderley. But the servants aren't exactly nice to the new Mrs. de Winters.

Especially unpleasant and cold is the frightening Mrs. Danvers (Judith Anderson), who was very fond of the first wife of Maxim's; Rebecca. The new Mrs. de Winter realizes very fast that she's always compared with Rebecca.

Mrs. de Winter decides that she has to find out what all this mystery about Rebecca is really about. Why does Laurence not want to speak about Rebecca, when it's obvious that he's thinking of her very often. What's the secret that everyone at Manderley seems to be very anxious to not let the new Mrs. de Winter know of?

This film is really good. It's sometimes very unpleasant and sometimes almost frightening. Joan Fontaine is veyr good in her role as the shy Mrs. de Winter who finds herself lost among the cold servants and her husband who turns as cold as the others when she as much as mentiones Rebecca.

The scenes with the frightening Mrs. Danvers are sometimes almost scary, because you're not sure of what she's really hiding. This film is very good because it sometimes make a sudden turn in the plot, which makes it all more exiting. But the grade isn't better then 3 of 5. But it's a really good film.

The 39 Steps

Robert Donat stars in this british thriller. 1935. Director: Alfred Hitchcock.

Richard Hannay (Robert Donat) meet a frightened Annabella Smith (Wylie Watson) one night at a London music hall theatre during the chaos after that somebody fires a gun there. He brings her to his apartment.

She tells him that she's a spy and that a man, with a part of one of his little fingers cut off, is planning to do something evil. Later that night, Annabella is stabbed to death. But before she dies, she warns Richard and he escapes.

After being handcuffed to the attractive Pamela (Madeleine Carroll), Richard tries to sold this mystery but it's going to be harder then he first thought.

When I saw this film, the quality was far away from good. I could hardly hear what they said and almost everyhting was covered in thick darkness that made most scenes of the film very hard to watch because it was hard to see what was actually happening.

Maybe this film would have been good if the quality was better, but I doubt it. It's not one of those films that's still good enough to find exiting nowadays. I like watching films from the 30's, but this one isn't very good unofortunately.

The three sailors Gabey (Gene Kelly), Chip (Frank Sinatra) and Ozzie (Jules Munshin) are allowed to have one day's shore leave. They plan to see all there is to see in New York, where their ship is located. In 24 hours, they'll try to find themselves girls and 'paint the town'.

During a fast journey through New York, Gabey sees a poster with a picture of the cute "Miss Turnstiles", Ivy Smith (Vera-Ellen). He wants to find this dreamgirl, who can do everything if you believe the poster. Gabey persuades his friends to help him to look for her.

But after a short while, Gabey is the only person who's still looking for Ivy after Chip has met the chatty taxi driver Hildy (Betty Garrett) and Ozzie's busy with the fast-tapping Claire (Ann Miller) who's doing research on prehistoric men because she used to be too mad about men, she had to calm down.

With less then 24 hours to spend before returning to the ship, will Gabey ever find his dreamgirl Ivy Smith in such a big city like New York?

This is a funny musical. You'll get beglamoured of Ann Miller's amazing tap dance at the museum. She sings "Prehistoric Man" and her feet is tapping very fast, that's entertainment. She's not much of an actress, but that number is one of the best in the history of musicals.

It's really great that some scenes are shot on location in New York. It's fun to see what it looked like then. This is a funny film that will make you happy and longing for a chance to dance through the streets with Gene Kelly and the others just like they do here.

Joseph Brady (Gene Kelly) and his friend Clarence Dolittle (Frank Sinatra) are allowed to leave the ship that they're working at. They're two men who's joined the navy and after brave actions, they can go on a four-day shore leave in Hollywood.

Joseph is planning to meet the dreamgirl 'Lola', who's the most good-looking girl in America and who's worth waiting for. The other sailors tries to listen to his "hot" phone call with this Lola, and Joseph's really exited to meet this girl.

But Clarence, who's very shy, wants Joseph to get him a girl. Clarence reveals that he has never been with a girl, and Joseph agrees to help him. Will Clarence find himself a kind girl that he can live happy with? Will Joseph ever get a chance to meet the hot Lola?

This film is good. The films with both Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra are much better then Gene Kelly's other films that I've seen so far. It's something special about "Anchors aweigh" and "On the town", which are the films with these too that I've had the pleasure to see so far. I got to see "Take me out to the Ball game"...

A bad thing in this film is the parts where the sweet Kathryn Grayson is singing. The scenes are too long, and I'm not exactly fond of her singing voice. Then it's much better when Gene Kelly shows his dancing skills in some great numbers.

Everytime that I see a movie with Gene Kelly, I can't help of thinking that he looks like he should be an actor now. His face and way of acting makes me think that he looks like an actor now.

An overrated musical with Gene Kelly and Leslie Caron. 1951. Director: Vincent Minelli.

Jerry (Gene Kelly) is an american in Paris. He's trying to become a successful painter, and he's spending his time painting and selling his work, without any success. This doesn't make him too very sad, but he knows that he is very poor.

Jerry has a friend named Adam (Oscar Levant) who's a pianist trying to reach for fame and fortune. Adam knows a man named Henri Baurel (Georges Guétary) who's a singer.

One day, Jerry meet a sweet girl named Lise (Leslie Caron), who's in a relationship with Henri, but Jerry has no idea of that. Jerry and Lise fall in love, but Jerry's "guardian" Milo (Nina Foch) is in love with him and she's trying to make Jerry feel the same which causes trouble to Jerry's and Lise's new love.

If you like ballet, you'll probably like this film. I'm more fond of Gene Kelly's tap dancing, but there's not much of that here, unfortunately. All of the ballet makes this film boring, I think.

The long ballet scene where Jerry's dreaming about Lise, well it's so long that I almost fell asleep. I nearly forgot what film I was watching because the ballet scene was so long that you almost forgot about the real plot of the film.

Back to the Future III

The third and last film in the trilogy. 1990. Director: Robert Zemeckis.

Marty (Michael J. Fox) has just been successfully sent to 1985, and Doc (Christopher Lloyd) is just about to calm down about the success when Marty shows up. Doc is first shocked but after calming down, he listens to Marty.

Marty has recieved a letter from Doc where he says that he was sent to 1885 during the storm. The time machine is now hidden and Doc wants Marty to take it back to 1985 and destroy it. Not come after him to rescue him.

But when Marty sees a gravestone with Doc's name on it, that says that Doc died in 1885, he decides to rescue his friend. But Marty is then sending himself away to an adventurous journey, back in 1885!

This film is better then the second one, but not as good as the first one. It's a good film, entertaining and sometimes exiting. The location in High Valley in 1885 is good and doesn't seem so especially weird. It makes sense, because they have a time machine.

It can might be a bit confusing when I wrote that he was just sent to 1985, and he then shows up in 1955... But when you see the film you'll understand perfectly. I didn't want to write too much about it. But remember, it's not confusing in the film.

Back to the Future II

The second film in the trilogy. 1989. Director: Robert Zemeckis.

Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) is finally back in his time, 1985. But almost before he even has time to realize that he's back, Doc (Christopher Lloyd) shows up in very odd clothes and in a new version of the time machine.

Marty and his girlfriend Jennifer (Elisabeth Shue) are told by Doc that they has to go to the future to save their son from getting locked up in prison. Before they've thought about it, their on their way in the DeLorean which is now a flying car.

They arrive to High Valley where they were before, but now in the year 2015. Cars are flying and people are wearing very weird clothes. Doc has made Jennifer unconscious because she almost freaked out, so they hide her so that they can leave without being afraid that she'll be found.

Doc tells Marty that he's son is going to agree to help Biff's (Thomas F. Wilson) grandson Griff (also Thomas F. Wilson) in a robbery. This will ruin the McFly family forever. So Marty must take his son's place and turn Griff down.

But when everthing seems to go swell, Marty buys a sports almanac with the results of almost every match or tournament from the years 1950 to 2000. Marty thinks that he can use it to win money back in 1985. But Doc tells him that it can be awfully dangerous, so they throw it. But then an old Biff finds it, and that's when the big trouble begins.

This is not as good as the first film, not at all. It's, like most sequels, not near being as good as the first film. Probably because the writers couldn't come up with a plot better than the first one. It's almost impossible to do that in this trilogy, but I think that they could have done better with this one.

The future world is very unrealistic, and soon we can see if it will turn out to be like it is in this film. Flying caars seems far away right now, but you never know. But in a few years we'll see how alike this film is to the reality.

Back to the Future

A wonderful, marvelous and absolutely amazing film that you got to see. 1985. Director: Robert Zemeckis.

Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) is a teenager in the 80's with a father, George McFly (Crispin Glover), who's a coward who can't say 'no' to his selfish and mean boss, "Biff" Tannen (Thomas F. Wilson). He's mother Lorraine (Lea Thompson) is drinking and the whole family seems to be very far away from perfect.

One night, Marty's friend Emmett "Doc" Brown (Christopher Lloyd) wants Marty to join him at the parking lot at The Twin Pines mall. Marty arrives, and Doc introduces his new invention, a timemachine!

After being attacted by Libyans, Marty accidentally travel back in time, 30 years! He's trapped in 1955, in the same town that he's living in, but in 1985. He meet Doc who's just come up with the idea of the timemachine, but doesn't know Marty yet because he's not born yet!

Marty thinks that it can't get any worse, but then he meet his parents, who haven't fallen in love, or even got to know each other. After rescuing his teenage father from being hit by a car, his mother falls in love with him! If Marty's mother keeps having her crush on him, how will his parents ever meet and fall in love, and give birth to Marty? The time is short, will Marty get back to the future, and save himself from being 'unborn'?

This is a marvelous film, really marvelous! It's one of my absolute favourite pictures and I've seen it many times, but I never think that it's boring. It's really one of the best films in film history! The music is great, the actors are great and the set and all is really splended!

I can't understand how anybody can come up with such a brilliant story as this one. It's really amazing. It's so genius and smart and funny and exiting, and I fell in love with this film the first time I saw it. If you haven't seen this film, then you've really missed something!

Tarzan

Disney's film about the man of the jungle. 1999. Directors: Chris Buck, Kevin Lima.

As an infant, Tarzan was brought to the coast of Africa when his parents managed to rescue themselves and their beloved son from a burning ship. In a wild jungle, they build a house to live in.

At the same time, the happy gorilla mother Kala, loses her beloved son to the dangerous leopard Sabor. Disconsolate she continues to live her life as the partner of the leader of the gorillas, Korchak. One day, she hears a baby cry somewhere, and she rushes to find who it is. She finds the little infant Tarzan, and after a fight with Sabor, who has killed Tarzan's parents, she manages to get back to the gorillas.As Tarzan grows up, he decides to become the best gorilla in the world, but he's really a man. He's trying to prove himself worthy to his "adoptive" father, the leader of the Gorillas.But when a group of explorers from England arrives to the jungle, everything change. Tarzan realizes that he's like the explorers, a human. He falls in love with the curious Jane, who finds him very interesting. But when the evil explorer Clayton wants to see the gorillas, things becomes very dangerous.

Exiting Disney film with great music and exotic location. It's a good film and there's a lot of action. Some songs are really good, such as "Strangers like me". It's well made and worth seeing.

Mulan

Mulan

My favourite Disney film. 1998. Directors: Barry Cook, Tony Bancroft.

Mulan is a young woman who doesn't seem to fit in in the traditional China. She wants adventure, but everyone else seems to want her to just become a beautiful wife of some man.

After making a fool of herself at a matchmaker, Mulan cries and becomes very sad because she doesn't want her parents to be disappointed. When her father is forced to enlist for war, Mulan decides that she'll take his place as a soldier.

She leaves in the middle of the night, when her parents are asleep. She cuts her hair and dresses up as a man. On the way to the soldier camp, she meet the little red dragon Mushu, who's there to protect her.

Mushu isn't really the one to protect her, but he destroyed the stone dragon that really should do it. With the help of Mushu, Mulan manages to enter the camp, but everyone thinks that she's a total loser.

She calls herself 'Ping' and starts the training together with the other soldiers, a bunch of at first idiots. The trainer and great warrior, Shang, finds her useless and sends her home. But she proves her worthy and then she becomes the best soldier of them all.

They then leave to meet another troop, but finds it destroyed and slaughtered. When they continue their journey, they are attacted by the extremely dangerous Huns. They plans to take control of China, and Mulan must stop them!

This is such a wonderful picture. I loved it as a child and still does. It's absolutely splended and what I would call swell. It's all very beautiful, the music and the songs are very good and everything is just great. This is the best Disney film ever made! A strong 4.

Hercules

Hercules

Not an especially good Disney film about the strong Hercules. 1997. Directors: Ron Clements, John Musker.

Hercules was born at the Mount Olympus. His father, the mighty god Zeus, was very happy until the evil Hades took the little infant Hercules away. But Zeus doesn't know that Hades is responsible for that.

The two henchmen of Hades, Pain and Panic, are suppose to kill Hercules with a poison, but instead, they just make him human. Strong, but not a real god anymore.

Hercules grows up with two friendly people who took care of him as if he was their own child. But when he's strenght puts them in to much trouble, his kind adoptive parents tell him that when they found him as an infant, he had the symbol of gods.

Hercules then leaves to find his true identity. After visiting the temple of Zeus where he reunite with his old friend Pegasus, the flying horse, Hercules comes to the hero trainer Phil who after some persuasion from Zeus agrees to train Hercules.

Hercules wants to reunite with his real family, the gods, but he can't because he's not a real god anymore. Zeus has told him that he must prove himself worthy to rejoin the gods at Mount Olympus, so Hercules starts working on becoming a real hero.

Sometimes a good film, but still not so especially good I must say. It's often pretty bad, but some parts isn't bad at all. But it's just not so touching.

One Hundred and One Dalmatians

Classic film about all of the dalmatians and the evil Cruella DeVil. 1961. Directors: Clyde Geronimi, Hamilton Luske, Wolfgang Reitherman.

The dalmatian Pongo and his owner, Roger Radcliffe, are both bachelors and live in London. Pongo decides to find them both girls. He's starting to watch the women who pass by the window, and finally sees a well-dressed woman with a lovely dalmatian.

After forcing the song-writing Roger to the park, Pongo tries to find the other dalmatian, and finally succeed. Pongo acts very silly and tries to get the dalmatian's attention.

Some time later, Roger and the woman Anita gets married, and Pongo and the dalmatian Perdita lives happily together. One day, Perdita gives birth to 15 puppies, and one almost dies. But luckily, Roger manages to save the poor thing.

But the happiness isn't going to be long, because then Anita's "friend", Cruella DeVil, arrives to the apartment and wants to buy the puppies. Roger and Anite won't let her, and Roger manages to make her leave.

But Cruella won't stop. She wants those puppies, so she tells her clumsy henchmen to steal the poor puppies who's now a bit older. Pongo and Perdita decides to rescue their children themselves instead of trust that Scotland Yard finds their beloved puppies.

A good Disney film, entertaining but still not the perfect Disney film. Nothing can be perfect, but this isn't good enough to get the grade of 4.

Pocahontas

Pocahontas

Disney's version of the story of the brave native girl. 1995. Directors: Mike Gabriel, Eric Goldberg.

John Smith is a brave and handsome, and he's going to be captain of the ship that will take a bunch of men to America to explore the country and search for gold. The leader of them is the selfish Ratcliffe who just want the gold for himself.

John thinks that this "new world" isn't going to be any different then any other "new world" that he has discovered. But he couldn't be more wrong.

In this new world, John won't find the gold that he thought he would, but he'll meet the smart and gorgeous Pocahontas, daughter of the leader the indians there.

Pocahontas is troubled because her father wants her to marry the great warrior Kocoum, but she thinks that he's to serious and grumpy. She has dreamed about someone else, someone who she don't know about.

When the ship with John and his crew arrives to her land, he explore the forest and meet her at a waterfall. They spend time together and she teaches him that just because she's not like him, she's not a savage. They fall in love, but their love seems impossible when Ratcliffe wants to get rid of the indians.

I just love this film. It's marvelous and really great. The music is great and it's all very beautiful. The colors are all very good and creates the right feeling for the envorinment there and the nature.

It's kind of funny that Pocahontas falls in love with a man, so alike all others in his world. John Smith, very usual name, but for her, it's very different. He's blond and has blue eyes, very normal for us but all new to her. Fascinating.

The Lion King

The Lion King

One of the very best Disney films. 1994. Directors: Roger Allers, Rob Minkoff.

Simba is the son of the great king Mufasa and the queen Sarabi in Africa. Mufasa is a good leader of the animals in the kingdom and everyone is happy, almost everybody.

Mufasa's brother Scar wants the throne for himself, and plans to get it. Scar plans to kill both Simba and Mustafa after failing killing Simba at an elephant graveyard.

He lures Simba to go down to a ravine. He then creates a wildebeest stampede there, and Simba runs for his life but ends up hanging from a small tree in the middle of the stampede.

Mufasa tries to rescue his beloved son, but Scar betrays him and lets Mufasa fall to the ground from a cliff. Simba finds his father dead when the wildebeests are gone. Scar blaims Simba and tells him to leave the kingdom.

Escaping the evil hyenas, Simba run away. Scar tells the kingdom that the king and the prince are dead. He then take over the throne himself. Years later, the kingdom is empty of food and everybody is sad and Scar is hated by everyone. It's now up to Simba to save the kingdom, but will he or will he keep living his happy life with his new friends, Timon and Pumba?

This is a marvelous film. Really good. The music and such is good, it's all very nice made and the story is good. One of the best Disney films ever made.

Aladdin

Magical Disney film set in India. 1992. Directors: Juhn Musker, Ron Clements.

The evil Jafar tries to enter the Cave of Wonders to get an oil lamp containing a genie that can make him very powerful. But he and his egoistic parrot Iago learns that only one person can enter the cave.

In Agrabah, the bored princess Jasmine wants to escape her boring life in the palace. She wants to enter the streets of the city, outside the gigantic walls that surround her and the others in the palace.

Disgusised, she climbs over the walls and walks to the marketplace. Not realizing that you have to pay for things, she gives a poor boy an apple. She would have lost her hand if not the urchin Aladdin and his monkey Abu comes and rescues her.

Jafar then sees that Aladdin is the person who can enter the Cave of Wonders, and takes him there. Aladdin gets the lamp, but Jafar then betrays Aladdin and he's then trapped in the cave.

With the help of the funny genie, Aladdin gets out of there. He wants to marry Jasmine, thinking that she'll like him even more if he's a prince. But Jafar is still looking for the lamp, and what'll happen when he realizes that Aladdin has it?

A good Disney film. One of the best, but still not as good as "Beauty and the Beast" and "Pocahontas". The location is exotic and the film if very magical. A good movie.

Beauty and the Beast

The Beauty and The Beast

Splended film, one of the best of Disney's films. 1991. Directors: Gary Trousdale, Kirk Wise.

Once upon a time, a handsome prince was so mean and selfish that he was enchanted into a beast. He would continue being a beast until the last petal of a magic rose fall to the ground. Only if he could fall in love with someone and be loved in return, can he become normal again.

Years later, while the Beast is living in his dark and sad castle, the lovely Belle is living in a village with her father Maurice, who's an inventor. The others in the village sees the two of them as odd because that their different.

When Maurice is going to a fair to show his new invention, he loses his horse in the night and comes to the castle. The Beast locks him up a tower as a prisoner.

Belle is taken to the castle by her fathers horse. She wants to take her fathers place as the Beast's prisoner, and the Beast agrees. Her father returns to the village, trying to convince the others that Belle is in danger. But they just think that he's insane.

Belle becomes friend with the Beast, and the others in the castle hope that she'll fall in love with the Beast so that they can all become normal again. But will their wishes come true when the petals are slowly falling, one by one, and Belle doesn't seems to really love the Beast?

This is a great and splended Disney film. It's beautiful and sometimes exiting. For being an animated Disney film. This is one of the best Disney films ever, and I recommend it.

The Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid

Classic, but not as good as you might think. 1989. Directors: Juhn Musker, Ron Clements.

Ariel is a princess of the ocean, daughter to the mighty king Triton of the sea. The grogeous Ariel is living in the underwater palace Atlantica, but longs for a life as a human.

Her father has told his best friend, Sebastian the crab, to watch over Ariel, because she's very naive and she'll might get herself mixed up in something bad. Sebastian sees her collection of things from the human world, which no merpeople is allowed to make contact with.

Ariel and her friend, Flounder the fish, swim up to the ocean surface one night to watch the celebration of the birthday of prince Eric. Ariel is madly in love with the human prince.

When a storm hits the ship on which Eric is aboard, Ariel rescues Eric from drowning. She gets him to a beach and sings to him, but just before he wakes up, she leaves. He remembers her voice and wants to see the girl who saved him.

Ariel is desperate to see him again, so she goes to the evil Sea Witch Ursula who can make Ariel a human for three days. But the catch is that Ursula will make Ariel unable to speak during her human time. Without her voice, how will Ariel make Eric fall in love with her? If she can't make him fall in love with her within three days, Ursula will make Ariel her slave.

The story isn't bad at all, but the film isn't as good as it might sound. Sad but true. For really small children, this can be close to horror. Ursula is pretty scary later in the film, and some scenes can be unpleasant for small children. Just saying that. Some songs are really good.

Oliver & Company

One of the worst Disney films. 1988. Director: George Scribner.

Oliver is a homeless little orange kitten in New York. He's washed away from his "home", a small box and is the next day lost in the streets of the big city. He meet the street-smart dog Dodger who's good at stealing hot dogs.

Dodger is living with some other dogs in a place in total mess, with a dirty pickypocket as their owner, who's very fond of his dear dogs, but can't exactly take care of them or himself. He and his dogs steal to get money to pay a gangster that the pickypocket, Fagin, own money.

Oliver follows Dodger to his home where the little kitten is first hated, but after a while, the dogs start to like him. Oliver becomes one of them.

But after a failing robbery, Oliver ends up in the house of the wealthy family Foxworth. The daughter, Jenny, wants to keep Oliver, and with Jenny as his new owner, Oliver is more happy then ever before. But he's missing his old friends who's having trouble.

This isn't a very good film I must say. The pickypocket Fagin is what I would call disgusting and most things in this film is messy and such. Not that you shouldn't care about the people who's living like that, but it's pretty depressing.

The Disney films from around the same time, the 80's, are all pretty bad. This film is not an exception. Sad but true.

The Great Mouse Detective

The Great Mouse Detective

The story of mice and rats in the Victorian London. 1986. Directors: Burny Mattinson, David Michener, John Musker and Ron Clements.

Basil of Baker Street, living under the floor of Sherlock Holmes's apartment, is a famous detective in the mouse world of London. When a toymaker named Hiram Flaversham is kidnapped, his daughter who's the only witness, comes to Basil for help.

Hiram is taken to the mad and evil Ratigan who wants him to create a robot looking like the queen of the mice. Ratigan plans to assassinate the queen and replace her with a robot without anybody else noticing anything.

Ratigan then plans to make himself king of the mice and become very powerful. Basil agrees to help the little sad and scared girl, Olivia, to find her father after realizing that the villain is the evil Ratigan.

Basil has been wanting to catch Ratigan for a long time, and now he has a chance to succeed. But will he? Ratigan is a very dangerous enemy.

The scenes in the clock tower with the gears frightened me as a child, but the rest of the film is pretty good. A detective story set in London.

Robin Hood

Disney's version of the classic story about the prince of thieves. 1973. Director: Wolfgang Reitherman.

The well-liked King Richard is fighting for justice in the Holy Land, while the greedy prince John is forcing the peasants in England to pay extreme taxes.

Robin Hood and his companion Little John are stealing the collected taxes to give the money back to the people who it belong to. Robin is very popular and every peasant love him for his kindness.

The Maid Marion and Robin where sweethearts as children, and she's wondering if he's forgotten about her. But he certainly hasn't. He can't stop thinking of her, his true love.

But will they ever be able to get married when Robin is a wanted outlaw? Will Robin and his friends be able to get all the taxes back to the people who's living without any money at all and almost no food to eat?

This is a funny and sometimes really good film. Little John reminds me very, very much of Baloo in "The Jungle Book". It's like it's the same bear.

Some things in this film is very alike scenes in other Disney films, but it's not so disturbing. Marion is cute and Robin especially is adorable when they walk around, so in love. The scene at the tournament is really hilarious!

The Aristocats

The Aristocats

Classic film about rich cats in trouble. 1970. Director: Wolfgang Reitherman.

The cats Duchess and her kittens Marie, Toulouse and Berloiz live in a big mansion with their kind owner Madame Bonfamille and her butler Edgar. He seems to be pretty stupid and clumsy.

But when the old and weak Madame Bonfamille tell her lawyer that she wants her dear cats to inherit her money and that Edgar will take care of them until they die. When the cats are dead, Edgar will be given the remaining fortune.

Edgar hears this and thinks that he must get rid of the cats so that Madame Bonfamille will believe that her little darlings are dead, and then Edgar will get the money.

So, Edgar gives the cats sleeping pills and then he kidnaps them to drive far away to leave them. But he's supriced by the two dogs Napoleon and Lafayette. After a fight, the cats are left under a bridge, alone in the country side.

The cats then wake up in their bed-basket, and are terrified of the fact that they're totally lost. But with the help of an alley cat named Thomas O'Malley, maybe they'll get back to Madame Bonfamille in time.

This film is boring, that's what I thought when I saw this as a child, and that's what I think now. Duchess is very pretty in her white fur and diamond necklace.

The Jungle Book

The Jungle Book

A film set in the wild jungle of India. 1967. Directors: Wolfgang Reitherman.

Mowgli is found in a basket in a boat on a river. The friendly wolfs raise the little boy as one of their own. But some years later, he must leave them.

He has to be taken to the "man village" where he can grow up and be safe from the man-eating tiger Shere Khan. The panther Bagheera is responsible of taking Mowgli to the village.

But Mowgli doesn't want to go there at all, he wants to stay in the jungle. He doesn't see Shere Khan as a threat, which is a bit stupid, and tries to persuade Bagheera to change his mind, but fail.

Mowgli then meet the happy and free bear Baloo with whom he becomes friends. Baloo disagrees with Bagheera about taking Mowgli to the village, so Mowgli likes Baloo.

But when the dangerous Shere Khan arrives, will Mowgli survive, or die because of his own decision?

I think that this film can be pretty slow and sometimes boring. There's nothing that's really, really funny. Maybe the vultures, but otherwise, not much at all.

Sleeping Beauty

Very classic, very famous. 1959. Directors: Clyde Geronimi, Les Clark, Eric Larson, Wolfgang Reitherman.

The longed-for daughter of King Stephan and Queen Leah, princess Aurora, is born and the whole country is happy. Still an infant, Aurora is bethrothed to the little prince Philip.

At her christening, the three fairies Flora, Fauna and Merryweather enter to bless the child. But before Aurora gets the blessing of Merryweather, the evil Maleficent enters, very angry for not being invited to the christening.

Maleficent give Aurora a curse. The poor child will die when she'll touch a spinning wheel before the sun sets on her sixteenth birthday. Luckily, Merryweather weakens the curse with her blessing. Instead of dying, Aurora will fall deeply asleep until her true love kisses her.

King Stephan destoys all spinning wheels in the country afterwards, to try to save his beloved daughter from a cruel destiny. But the three fairies realizes that nothing can save Aurora.

They bring the infant to a small cottage in the middle of a big forest, where they can let Aurora grow up, hidden from the evil eyes of Maleficent. For years and years, nobody knows where the princess is located.

When a gorgeous Aurora, dreaming of true love, is about to turn sixteen, the three fairies are afraid that she will be hurt. They love her as if she was their child, but will Aurora be saved from Maleficents curse?

A charming film. When I was really young, just a little child, I found Maleficent's green fire very scary. Aurora looks very unpleasant and her eyes did scare me then. So for very small kids, this film can contain one or two scary parts.

But I doubt that any older person would find this film scary, no horror here. It's maybe not always totally wonderful, but charming and sometimes funny.

Lady is a gorgeous cocker spaniel living in a fancy neighbourhood in a fancy house with rich owners. After some lovely years there, Lady hears the owners talk about things.

Her friends Jock and Trusty explains to her that the owners are expecting a baby. The Tramp walk into the yard and to the friend's anger, starts warning Lady of that when the baby arrives, she'll lose her comfortable place in the home.

The baby arrives and Lady is still loved as much as before. But then, the owners leaves for a short trip, and leaves poor Lady with the horrible Aunt Sarah who brings her two awful cats with her.

After a chase where the cats starts ruining the house, Aunt Sarah gets Lady muzzled. Scared, Lady run away but she's then chased by vicious street dogs. The Tramp sees her in trouble and he rescue her. He then bring her to the zoo where he helps her get the muzzle off.

Lady, who's very rich, doesn't seem to be the perfect match for the Tramp who's poor. But she then realizes that he's much more kind then she first thought. The love story begins.

This film can sometimes be a bit slow and boring. But still, there's some parts which is really good, like the restaurant scene. But the scenes in the dog-jail or what you want to call it, is too long. This film is part times very charming and anyone who's fond of dogs will probably like this, at least a bit.

In a boring and grey London, the Darling siblings Wendy, John and Michael dreams about a fantasy boy named Peter Pan. But then, the mother of the children says that Wendy is about to grow up and she can't stay in the boys room any longer.

Wendy doesn't want to grow up, so she's sad. But when the parents leaves for a party and the siblings are about to sleep, a mysterious man shows up on the roof and moves towards the children's window.

Wendy wakes up and sees the boy she has been dreaming about, Peter Pan. He tries to glue his shadow to his feet so that the shadow won't run away again.

When Wendy has helped Peter, she tries to kiss him. But Peter's little fairy-friend Tinkerbell stop Wendy from putting her words to action.

Then, the brothers wake up and after that Wendy has explained that she has to grow up, Peter promises to take the siblings to his island, Neverland. An unimaginable adventure awaits them there!

The perfect film for children. The location is funny but maybe a bit unimaginable, for the people without any fantasy.

I can find Peter Pan a bit to careless and stupid, and that he would forever be a child is really to impossible to imagine. Especially when you see the follow up to this film, when Wendy is an adult and Peter is still a child. Disgusting.

There's some funny scenes in this film and it's really worth seeing. Especially for children.

Alice is a girl with a lot of fantasy and she doesn't fancy her sister reading history books to her, so she becomes really bored listening to her sister.

Alice then falls into a wonderland where she's not only growing and shrunking very often, but she also meet the most unlikely creatures you could ever have imagined.

I never liked this film as a little child, and I certainly doesn't like it now either. It's like a mess and I feel sick of watching it. Everything is so odd and weird and crazy that I just feel that it's too much.

There's not much good in this film, most things is mad and weird and many of the caracters are just annying and stupid so I don't think that this film is worth seeing.

But it's still not so bad that it gets the grade of zero, it's somewhere between 0 and 1... Well, not good then.

Cinderella was a very loved child who's mother is dead. Her rich father thinks that she needs a mother's care, and marries a widow who also has children, the ugly daughters Anastasia and Drizella.

The stepsisters are very envious of the beautiful and charming Cinderella. They're all very happy until the day when Cinderella's father dies. From that day, the stepmother is awfully cruel to the sad little Cinderella, and treats her like a slave.

Cinderella has to take care of the household and she's very unhappy about it. But as she grows into a gorgeous young woman, she learns to live with the animals in the house as her only friends. It's the leader of a mouse-pack, Jaq, and their new friend, the fat mouse Gus. And lots of other animals.

One night, there's going to be a ball in the castle for the prince so that he can find himself a future wife. The king want his son to find a wife so that there can be grandchildren.

The prince, Prince Charming, really doesn't like his father's idea, but it doesn't help to argue with him. Cinderella dreams of going to the ball, but will her dream ever come true when her evil stepmother and stepsisters never let her do anything but cleaning?

This is a cute and charming Disney film. Classic film with adorable caracters and the lovely Cinderella is a caracter that you can like. A bit too much maybe with all of the animals singing all the time, but this film is made for children, so...

This film is very cute and many little girls just adore it and wants to be Cinderella. I wasn't really mad about this film when I was around 5 years old or so, but I did like these kind of films. But then I didn't know much, so don't blaim me for have being a princess-nerd when I was too young to think

Bambi

The classic Disney film about the little white-tailed deer. 1942. Director: David D. Hand.

Bambi is born in a forest, and all the animals there gather to see the newly born. Bambi is a prince, and especially the young rabbit Thumper wants to know almost all there is about the little prince.

Bambi is then out walking and meet Thumper and his family. They play and run around and Bambi learns his first words. They meet a Skunk that Bambi calls 'Flower'. The little skunk becomes their friend.

The beloved and brave mother of Bambi one day bring her son to the meadow, a marvelous place. Bambi run around and meet the adorable girl-deer Faline with whom he's playing.

Bambi then meet new friends, play on the ice and does a lot of other things. This film tells the story of his life.

Not the very best Disney film. It's not too bad, but still not so very good. Bambi is pretty stupid and that can sometimes be a bit irritating.

His little friend Thumper is what I would call smug. He's the type that I would find very annoying and he's always so... well, smug.

When Bambi and his friends are almost adults, or what you should call it, they fall in love with some girls. That scene can very easily be misinterpret. Maybe not odd to children, but some people would might see it in another way...

Dumbo

Dumbo

Disney's story of the poor little elephant. 1941. Director: Ben Sharpsteen.

The circus train is heading for a new place, traveling with lots of wagons filled with all sorts of animals. In one wagon, the sad Mrs. Jumbo is living with some other elephants. She haven't got her child from the stork yet.

But then, an exhausted stork enters and bring Mrs. Jumbo her beloved child. It's a little elephant boy. The other elephants starts laughing at him when he reveals his very large ears. The mother is sad about that and hide her son from their evil laughs.

The others call him "Dumbo". Not the most kind nickname. When some others are hazing him, his mother attack the evil guys, but she's then locked up and called mad. Poor Dumbo has nobody else to talk to. But then he meet the self-appointed mentor Timothy Q. Mouse.

After an accident, Dumbo has to play a part in a stunt number where he fall from a high tower into a small pool and be humiliated in front of the audience. He hates his job and becomes very miserable.

Timothy tries to make Dumbo feel better and takes him to his locked up mother. After the visit, Dumbo gets hiccup and Timothy takes him to have some water. But there's alcohol in the water, and the two friends become drunk seeing pink, dancing elephants.

The following morning, they wake up in a tree. High up in a tree. How did they get there? How will they ever get home? Will Dumbo ever be happy again?

This isn't a very good Disney film. The scene with the pink elephants is pretty odd and I really dislike it. It makes me feel sick, I don't know why, but the elephants are disgusting.

The only part that's fun is the part on the train, the rest is pretty miserable. The part where they are lost somewhere far away is all right, but this isn't the happiest Disney film.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Disney's classic film about the beautiful Snow White. 1937. Directors: David Hand, William Cottrell, Wilfred Jackson, Larry Morey, Perce Pearce, Ben Sharpsteen.

Snow White is a princess, so beautiful that her evil stepmother, the queen, treats her as a slave. She has to clean, do the dishes, swab the floors and polish the stairs and windows.

The queen treats the poor Snow White like that because that she's too beautiful. The queen wants to be the most beautiful woman, so she won't let Snow White dress in nothing but old rags.

One day, Snow White sings by the well with some white pigeons, and her dream prince shows up and they fall in love. But then, the queen decides to kill Snow White because that the mirror on the wall has said that Snow White is the fairest fair of them all.

The hunter who's sent to assassin the gorgeous young princess, feel terribly guilty and lets her run away, but only if she never return. Scared to death, she run into the forest where she faints of fear.

She then find a small cottage, a lovely little cottage hidden in deep into the forest. The people living there are dwarfs, seven dwarfs. They finds her asleep and they all like her, even Grumpy who's very grumpy.

Snow White is allowed to live with the dwarfs, but how long will the happiness last? Will the queen ever find Snow White?

Not the best Disney picture, but it's quite amazing how the people who draw this film could draw such a perfect film. Really incredible. Everything, every single drawing is made by hand. That's what I call Hand Made work. Credit to the draftsmen!

This is might not the most harmless Disney picture. When I was really small, I thought that the queen was really terrifying! I was so scared of her. But now I'm not, but still, small kids might find this film pretty scary sometimes.

Pirates of the Caribbean - At world's end

Pirates of the Caribbean - At world's end

The third and so far the last film in the (so far) trilogy. 2009. Director: Gore Vebinski.

Cutler Beckett (Tom Hollander) possesses Davy Jones's (Bill Nighy) heart, and he then also controls the squid-looking captain. Davy and his crew is forced to destroy all other pirate ships, to help Beckett to stop piracy.

Nine captains, all members of the Brethren Court, has to gather again to come up with a plan to stop Beckett. But one of the members are missing, Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp).

He's trapped in The Locker, where he's hallucinating aboard on the Black Pearl which the Kraken pulled down with Jack, to where he's now trapped. Elisabeth (Keira Knightley) and Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) persuades the asian captain Sao Feng (Chow Yun Fat) to help them getting Jack back.

They leave with Will (Orlando Bloom), who believe that Elisabeth is in love with Jack after seeing her kiss Jack passionately before letting the Kraken bring him down. But Will doesn't know the truth, why she kissed Jack.

Finally, they get to The Locker and after some discussion with a confused Jack, they leave with the Black Pearl. But getting back will be much harder then getting there. Luckily, they manage to return to the real world.

Will has promised his father (Stellan Skarsgard) to kill Jones to free him. But if he killes Jones, then he must take the place as the captain of the Dutchman, because there always has to be a captain. And he can't stop being the captain in any other way then death.

This film is sometimes just too much. The set which is suppose to look like Singapore, it ridicolous, really. It looks just like a studio. Anyone could see that. That's a bit unfortunate.

It's still very entertaing, even though almost everything is pushed to the limits of what's imaginable. Or, almost nothing is imaginable if you want it to be realistic. But if you don't want everything to be realistic, then I guess that this is all right.

One of the worst things in this film is that there's no chemistry what's so ever, between Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley. Their caracters's romance doesn't feel real, not just a bit. That's pretty bad.

Pirates of the Caribean - Dead man's chest

The second 'Pirates...' movie. Just like the first film, this is a blockbuster! 2006. Director: Gore Vebinski.
Elisabeth (Keira Knightley) and her beloved Will (Orlando Bloom) is suppose to get married, but they are interrupted before the cermony by lord Cutler Beckett (Tom Hollander).
He's from the East India Trading Company and is sent to Port Royal to stop piracy there. He threatens to execute them, and the absent ex-Commodore Norrington (Jack Davenport).
Elisabeth is sent to prison for helping Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp), but Will is sent to get Jack's magic compass and bring it to Beckett. If he doesn't get it in time, Elisabeth will be killed.
Will finds Jack at an island where he's like a leader for a group of natives on the island. The rest of the Black Pearl's crew is killed or trapped in cages. They got there after Jack wanted them to find any land and get away from open water.
Jack is marked with the Black Spot, a mark that shows that he's doomed to be Davy Jones's (Bill Nighy) slave for eternety. He's then chased by Davy Jones's "pet", the Kraken. That's a monster looking like a huge squid with sharp teeth.
Will agrees when Jack wants Will to help him find a mysterious key, and then when he got the key, give the compass to Will. But Will is taken prisoner by Davy Jones on 'The flying Dutchman', Jones's ship.
Jack must find the chest where Jones's heart is, so that he can become free from Jones. But Elisabeth who's escaped, wants Jack to help her find Will, and then Jack makes her believe that she can rescue Will from Jones, only by getting the chest. Will Jack ever be free from Jones's curse?
This is film is not as good as the first one. It's much more unrealistic, even if the first one wasn't so especially realistic either. The crew of Davy Jones is really odd, and certainly not realistc. Will's father, Bootstrap Bill (Stellan Skarsgard) is one of these people.
It feels like as if the people making the film has tried to squeeze everything imaginable out of the Pirate-idea. But it's good entertainment. But the scenes aboard the Flying Dutchman can be a bit boring the seventh time you see it. But, not the first time that you see it.
I simply loved this film when I sat in the boiling theatre and looked enchanted at the screen. I simply loved it. But, it's not a deep film winning Oscars for the script and so on. But very entertaining, and Johnny Depp is still great as Jack Sparrow.

Pirates of the Caribbean - The Curse of the Black Pearl

The unexpected blockbuster starring Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley. 2003. Director: Gore Vebinski.

Elisabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) is the governor's (Jonathan Pryce) daughter who lives with her father in Port Royal in the Caribbean. She's terribly beautiful and has especially two men who absolutely adores her.

Those men are Captain James Norrington (Jack Davenport) and the poor black smith Will Turner (Orlando Bloom). During a cermony where Norrington is promoted to a Commodore, Elisabeth is very troubled about her corset which is making her getting serious problems with breathing.

When Norrington proposes to her, she faints and fall into the ocean below. Luckily for her, the odd "Captain" Jack Sparrow sees her fall and dives into the water to rescue her. As she's sinking to the bottom, her medallion which she's wearing emits a mysterious pulse through the water.

Jack tears of her dress, because it's very heavy in the water. When he finally get unconscious Elisabeth out of the water, he sees her medallion and finds it mysterious. He then cuts of the corset and Elisabeth starts breathing again.

Even though he's just saved the becoming bride of Norrington, the Commondore arrests him for piracy. Jack escapes but after a fight with the blacksmith Will, he's locked up in prison to be hanged the following day.

But at night, a black ship with black sails, arrives to Port Royal. It's the 'Black Pearl', a ghost ship which most people thinks as a myth. But it isn't a myth, and the crew is real too. They have come to answer the call of the medallion.

Thinking that Elisabeth is the daughter of 'Bootstrap' Bill Turner, they kidnap her. Will, who loves her madly, tries to rescue her, but is hit by the pirates who've come ashore, and he doesn't wake up until the following morning.

He tries to persuade Jack to help him find the Black Pearl and rescue Elisabeth. Jack agrees when he finds out that Will's last name is Turner. But Jack knows something very important about the crew of the Black Pearl, a knowledge that will make their mission much harder then Will have ever imagined.

This is the perfect, classic adventure movie. It has action, romance, an exotic location, and pirates. Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow is extremely good, and without him, this film wouldn't have been so special. Good, but maybe a bit boring.

But luckily then, there is Johnny Depp. He's really an amazing actor. Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley are good, but still nothing really special. The lovely young couple.

Really a must-see-movie. It's exiting, funny, exotic and avdenturous! The perfect movie for a person who likes both exitement and romance. Maybe there's a little bit more of the exitement here, but still, romance.

A hard day's night

A hard day's night

The wonderful Beatles's first motion picture, very overstated. 1964. Director: Richard Lester.

This film follows the Beatles during one day in their lifes, or something like that. They ride on a train and meet Paul's grandfather (Wilfrid Brambell) who's an odd man.

They're then driven to the hotel where they feel trapped. They go to a night club where Ringo dances, well, maybe not so very elegant. But it's not suppose to be elegant, but still he's not much of a dancer.

The grandfather steals a hotel employee's clothes and go to a casino where the Beatles then find him. He's a nasty old man who doesn't listen to people and tries to make people like himself. Irritating fellow. "A villain, a real mixer" as Paul says.

The band is then to attend to a press conference, and then they have to be on a tv show. But they don't listen to their stressed manager (Norman Rossington), especially not the allways joking John.

This film has almost not any plot at all. I do like the cinematography, but the rest isn't so very good, unfortunately. The Beatles are maybe not trying to be actors, because they play themselves, but they still say their lines very badly.

John is awfully charming sometimes, but mostly irritating (but also funny) with his constant jokes. Can the Beatles ever be just a bit serious? Doesn't seem so. It can be fun, but it's sometimes a bit annoying when they seem to be a bit rude to most people. Especially John.

But, as always, the music is splended, marvelous, great, unforgettable! I love The Beatles and listen to them all the time, but even though I'm a Beatles fan, I can help thinking that this film is really, really bad. Everything is just ridicolousy stupid, but the boys are very charming, of course.

One minute they're sitting in a room talking about something, and the next minute they're running around on the streets and nothing is linked. That's the worst part. But if you like The Beatles there's one important reason to see this film; it's The Beatles!

The only part that's really good is the opening scene where they run at the train station to the song A hard day's night. So that's good.

Cast Away

Cast Away

Tom Hanks stars in this modern Robinson Crusoe story. 2000. Director: Robert Zemeckis.

Chuck Noland (Tom Hanks) is a man, obsessed with the idea of that everything should go fast and effective. He's a FedEx systems analyst, and travel around the world to see that everything goes according to the time schedule.

Chuck is living in Memphis, is an Elvis Presley fan, and loves his clever girlfriend Kelly (Holly Hunter), with whom he's having a long-term relationship. But a christmas dinner with relatives is interrupted and Chuck has to leave for a job.

At the airport, Kelly gives him her grandfather's pocket watch with Chuck's favourite picture of her in it. He gives her what appears to a ring, but wrapped up in a little box. He then says that he will be right back, but who could know how wrong those words would turn out to be.

Flying over the Pacific Ocean, the plane crashes right into the big ocean during a violent thunderstorm which has made the plane flying off course. Chuck is the only one who manages to get out of the sinking plane, but he finds himself alone on top of gigantic waves in the thunderstorm.

After a long time, he wakes up, washed up on a small island. There's nobody there, not even any animals. He's all alone in the middle of the Pacific. He realizes after a while that he will never be found. He must survive on his own. Will he ever get out of there?

This film was good, maybe not Tom Hanks's best one, but it's not bad at all. I'm terrified of that gigantic, dark, dangerous ocean, so the scenes where Chuck is in a small life-raft on top of those huge waves in the storm is what I would call terrifying.

What's good about this film is that it's pretty realistic. Chuck is a normal guy, a bit stressed, but normal. He's starting to talk to a volley ball called Wilson as if the ball were a real person. Not weird really, people need to talk to someone, or just talk.

Audrey Hepburn and William Holden stars in this comedy set in Paris. 1964. Director: Richard Quine.

The playboy screenwriter Richard Benson (William Holden) has been payed to write a script for his boss, Alexander Myerheim (Noel Coward). Richard is sure that he can write a good script in no-time.

But two days before he has to give the unfinished script to Myerheim, Richard realizes that he hasn't done anything and he has almost no time left for the writing.

He hires the sweet secretary, Gabrielle Simpson (Audrey Hepburn) to type the script as he comes up with the idea. She comes to his hotel room where he's working, under pressure from the ticking clock.

Richard and Gabrielle comes up with the idea for a film called The girl who stole the Eiffel Tower. With almost no time left, their ideas are flowing in the room, some realistic and some completely screwed.

Will they manage to finish the intire script in just two days? How will the script turn out to be in the end?

This film isn't so especially deep and dramatic. It's a plain romantic comedy. Sometimes really fun, and sometimes just weird. Most of the film is the ideas of Gabrielle and Richard, some of these ideas are very odd.

It maybe not a masterpiece, but entertaining. Good entertainment during a rainy day in fall when everything seems grey. Then you can sit with a cup of hot chocolate and watch this film and laugh. A sweet movie.

It's a wonderful life

The unforgettable classic motion picture with James Stewart in the leading role. 1946. Director: Frank Capra.

It's christmas eve 1946 and the considerate and unselfish man George Bailey (James Stewart) is deeply depressed. He plans to commit suicide. But up above, the angels knows what's happening.

The head angel, Joseph, tell Clarence (Henry Travers), an Angel of Second Class, to save the unhappy George. Joseph tells Clarence about George's life, from the beginning until the present happenings.

When George was 12, he saved his younger brother Harry (adult: Todd Karn) from falling through the ice. George got a cold which lead to an ear infection and since then, he can't hear good at all in that ear.

George then also saved a sick boy from getting poison instead of the real medicine. Later, George dreamed of travel around the world and build scyscraperes and bridges. But he must sacrifice his dreams for helping the people in his little town, Bedford Falls.

He's helping his father at the family company 'Bailey Building and Loan Association' until his four years younge brother Harry has finished his studies and can replace him.

But then, some years later, George finds out that he's father has had a stroke. George decides to keep running the company so that the vicious Mr. Potter (Lionel Barrymore) doesn't get control of the town's poor people who's depending on George's company.

But many years later, George has never got to do anything of what he dreamed of. The economy is going down, everything seems pointless and he seems to be alone in the world even though he has four children and a lovely wife (Donna Reed).

George then run away to kill himself, but right in that moment Clarence arrive and tries to help the depressed George, but will the angel be able to make George realize what a wonderful life it really is? Even though it's all dark and depressing.

This film is really beautiful. James Stewart is such a good actor and is perfect as George Bailey. It's very touching and sometimes really sad. Such a wonderful movie.

King Kong

King Kong

Naomi Watts and the very talented Adrien Brody stars in the new version of King Kong. 2005.

It's 1933 and the Great Depression is causing a lot of trouble for the people in New York. One of them is the poor Ann Darrow (Naomi Watts) who's acting and dancing at a Vaudeville theatre.

One day, she finds the theatre locked up, and closed down. Upset she walk away, trying desperately to find a new job so that she can afford at least a little meal for the day. Trying to steal an apple, she meet the odd movie director Carl Denham (Jack Black).

He's looking for an actress who can star in his new picture. Nobody else wants to work with him, but he doesn't mention that to Ann who after a discussion agrees because that her favourite writer, Jack Driscoll (Adrien Brody) is writing the script.

The film crew leaves just before the police arrives to arrest Denham who's up to bad business. They travel with a boat to shoot some scenes between Ann and the snobby actor Bruce Baxter (Kale Chandler).

Denham has found a mysterious map, and wants to go to a faraway island called Skull Island. But Denham doesn't tell the others in the crew, because he's not going to fail this time, he thinks.

One night, they're lost in a big fog and then crash into some rocks at an island, Skull Island. Ann is later kidnapped by some natives at the island, and is then taken by the big, unknown monster on the island. Jack, who's madly in love with her, leads the crew to rescue her. But it'll be much more dangerous then they could ever imagine!

This film is very long, too long. They should have shortened the three parts of the movie; the first part in New York, the second part on the Island and the third part in New York. It's all too much.

Sometimes, it's terribly entertaining and exiting, but sometimes it's just, well, too much. Ann never seem to end up meeting scary creatures which she's running for her life from. It's good at the start, but then, well, just too much.

Adrien Brody is really great here. He's always a splended actor, just like here. He makes the film better, much better then it would have been without him. Really great.

The third and last film in the trilogy. So incredible powerful that you must see this film, or miss one of the world's best films ever made! 2003. Director: Peter Jackson.

Frodo's (Elijah Wood) mind is turning into the dark side when the power of the ring keeps taking control of the poor hobbit. Sam (Sean Astin) is very worried and he doesn't trust Gollum (Andy Serkis) at all. Unfortunately, Frodo does.

Pippin (Billy Boyd)and Merry (Dominic Monaghan) reunite with their old friends from the fellowship, Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen), Legolas (Orlando Bloom), Gimli (Joh Rhys-Davies) and Gandalf (Ian McKellen) who has come back to Middle Earth.

Sauron is going to bring down the rest of Middle Earth, once and for all. In Mordor, the evil is about to sweep over the lands around, but there's still time for our heroes to gatter and fight for freedom and life.

Arwen (Liv Tyler) is dying. She will only live if the ring is destroyed. Aragorn fight his feelings when he has to go to battle with Theoden and rescue Minas Tirith in Gondor from the forces of Sauron.

Will Frodo stand against the power of the ring? Will Arwen live? Will Sauron win?

This film is too amazing to describe. It's so wonderful and well made that I don't have any trouble of understanding why it recieved 11 Academy Awards. All of the actors and actresses are good and the music is magical.

Especially Elijah Wood is amazing in this film. He's such a splended actor here that I think that he deserved an Academy Award for this part. He's really marvelous.

In some years, we'll probably think that the effects made the computer are pretty bad. But right now, they're really great. Gollum is really amazing, he looks so real.

I'm not usually the kind of person who cries, everytime there's a sad scene in a movie, can't help the tears rolling down my face in the ending scene where the boat leaves for the ocean. It's so incredible sad.

The huge spider-looking creature Shelob in this film is really frightening. Imagine being Frodo, having total panic and running for your life without any shoes in the wet, dark and web covered tunnel. I would be so scared that I would probably be eaten alive by that Shelob.

I always try to imagine being the caracter in the film. Sometimes, it can make you be even more scared of things. In this film, it makes you scared, sad and just as frightened as the caracters are. A great experience.

Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

The second film where Frodo's journey towards Mount Doom continue. 2002. Director: Peter Jackson.

With his faithful friend Sam (Sean Astin), Frodo (Elijah Wood) continues his long journey to Mordor and Mount Doom where he must throw the ring into the fire to destroy it and with it, Sauron.

Merry (Dominic Monaghan) and Pippin (Billy Boyd) has been taken prisoners by the uruk-hai's and are taken to Saruman's (Christopher Lee) quarters, Isengard. Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen), Legolas (Orlando Bloom) and Gimli (John Rhys-Davies) are running after them to free their friends.

Frodo starts feeling the power of the ring, hanging around his neck. The creature Gollum (Andy Serkis) is following them, but Sam and Frodo knows that something follows them. He's then finally revealed and they desides to take him with then as their guide, but tied up in a rope.

Sauron's power is growing stronger and Frodo can feel it in him. They're getting closer to Mordor, and it's becoming much harder to hide from Sauron's nazgûls who's looking for the ring, and the ring wants to be found.

The brave three wariors Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli meet king Theoden (Bernard Hill) who's enchanted by the dark magic of Saruman. Theoden is the king of Rohan, but since Saruman has taken control over him, it's a tragedy in the whole country.

Frodo and Sam are walking closer to the walls of Mordor, but Gollum is slowly turning Frodo to the bad side. The ring's power makes Frodo start wondering if Sam is to be trusted. At the same time, Saruman is preparing a great battle to take control over Rohan!

This part of the trilogy is really good, but because that it containes much more wars and battles then the other films, it's not as good as the others. It's not bad at all, no no. It's marvelous, but the battles can get a bit too long if you've allready seen the film several times, like I have.

Or, it's not the battles themselves. When the men and elves fight Saruman's uruk-hais in Helm's deep, then we sometimes has to watch Merry and Pippin when they attend to a meeting for the Ents in the forrest. That's pretty boring actually.

Aragorn and Arwen's romance is very beautiful and you can almost cry, but I repeat: almost. Viggo is very handsome as the tough but worried Aragorn. Miranda Otto, who plays Éowyn, is a good actress by the way. Just had to say that. Well, but still, this is the most battle-filled Lord of the Rings film.

Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

The first film out of three about J.R.R. Tolkien's fantasy world. 2001. Director: Peter Jackson.

A long, long time ago, the Dark Lord Sauron made some very powerful ring in the fire of Mount Doom in the dark land of Mordor. He gave three rings to the elvs, seven to the dwarfs, nine to the mortal men, but made The One ring for himself.

That one ring was the most powerful ring of them all. It controlled the other rings and one by one, Sauron took control of the lands of Middle Earth with the help of The ring. Then, the remaining free people left fought Sauron and his orcs to free their homes.

But when it all seemed to be for nothing, Prince Isildur (Harry Sinclair) cuts of Sauron's hand, and the ring on the Dark Lord's hand fell to the ground. The leader of the elvs, Elrond (Hugo Weaving), persuaded Isildur to throw the ring into the fire of Mount Doom. But Isildur doesn't, and leaves with it. And as long as the ring isn't destroyed, Sauron is alive.

But the ring isn't to be trusted. It has it's own life. It wants to get back to its master, Sauron. One day, Isildur is killed and the ring seemed to be lost forever. But then, many, many years later, it was found. Then it was brought to the Misty Mountains by the creature Gollum (Andy Serkis) who became sick of the love to the ring.

Then, many years later, it had given Gollum unnaturally long life. But it felt that the time had come. It left Gollum, but was found by the must unlikely creature, a hobbit named Bilbo Baggins (Ian Holm). Bilbo treasured the ring for a long time, but nothing last forever.

When he celebrates his 111th birthday in the land of hobbits, The Shire, the vise wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) persuades Bilbo to leave the ring to Frodo (Elijah Wood). Bilbo does as Gandalf tells him and leaves for a long journey. Gandalf then tell Frodo that he must bring the ring to Mordor and destroy it.

Frodo could never in his life imagine what the journey to Mordor would turn into. It would become the most dangerous and frightening journey ever made!

This movie is just so wonderful that you can't imagine if you haven't seen it! It's very long, but you don't notice that when you're enchanted of the magic of the film. Peter Jackson has done a great job, and all others working with this film.

Viggo Mortensen, who play the Dunedai man Aragorn is really good and so are also Sean Astin as Sam Gamgi, Frodo's friend and journey mate. Billy Boyd as Pippin Took is very sweet but Dominic Monaghan as his friend Merry isn't that good.

Other actors and actresses are Liv Tyler as the beautiful Arwen, princess of the elvs, Orlando Bloom as the arrow shooting Legolas, John Rhys-Davies as the dwarf Gimli and Christopher Lee as the white wizard Saruman. If you like the books, then you'll love the films even more. The books are pretty boring sometimes, but the films aren't.

Quantum of Solace

Daniel Craig's second Bond film with 99% action and 1% plot. 2008. Director: Marc Foster.

In a new, cool Aston Martin, Bond (Daniel Craig) is chased by villains along a road. Bond arrives at a MI6 quarter in Siena where he meet M (Judi Dench) who isn't sure if she can trust Bond any more.

Mr White (Jesper Christensen) is about to be questioned by MI6, but then Bond discover that some men in the room isn't men to be trusted. Bond chases a member of Quantum, an evil organisation which also Le Chiffre was a member of.

Bond travel to Haiti to track down the contact of the Quantum man in Siena. He finds out that the contact was sent to kill Camille Montes (Olga Kurylenko) because she's the mistress of Dominic Greene (Mathieu Amalric), the leader of an ecological organisation called Greene Planet.

While observing Greene, Bond learns that Greene is helping the disgusting Bolivian general Medrano (Joaquín Cosio), who killed Camille's family, to buy a piece of land in the middle of a desert. "Why?", Bond wonder.

After a fight at one of Greene's meetings, M thinks that Bond is not to trust any more. She has his passport and credit cards revoked. Bond then meet René Mathis (Giancarlo Giannini) and travel to Bolivia.

Bond meet the redheaded MI6 agent Fields (Gemma Arterton). She wants him to take the first plane back to England, but he disobeys. He has desided to find out what Greene is up to, and stop it before it's too late.

I first saw this Bond film at a pre-premier which I thought was really cool. Just mentioned it. When I saw the film at a nice cinema at that pre-premier, I shouldn't have had too high expectations, because that Casino Royale was such a disappointment. But do is a Bond film, then I will have high expectations no matter what.

The movie began with a car chase. I knew then that it wasn't going to be better then Craig's first Bond film. The Bourne films with Matt Damon is some kind of imitation of Bond films, maybe not completely, but still some kind of imitation. I hate the cinematography in the Bourne films, and what do I see in the car chase? The exact same kind of cinematography!

This Bond film is trying to be an imitation of the Bourne films, an imitation of the Bond films (but not as good as the Bond films at all). Can it become more stupid? In this film, the plot is, well "hidden" behind all violence and action.

There's 99% action and then 1% plot which they doesn't even explain well enough so you just sit there and sees Craig shoot and hit henchmen and then do the same thing all over again. But you doesn't understand really why! So the plot is something that they got to work on for the next Bond film.
