You only live twice

You only live twice

Bond travels to Asia. 1967. Director: Lewis Gilbert.
Someone tries to start a war between USA and Soviet through hijacking the two country's spacecrafts. To stop war, Bond who's suppose to be killed according to sources, travel to Japan where the hijacked spacecrafts are supposed to be hidden, somewhere.
With the help from "Tiger" Tanaka (Tetsuro Tamba) and his assistant Aki (Akiko Wakayabashi), Bond starts investigating. Bond meets MI6's local man Henderson (Charles Gray) who is suppose to know something.
The time is short, where's the headquarters of the mastermind behind all this? Bond meet the dangerous Helga Brandt (Karin Dor), fight villains and searches for the headquarters in Q's invention "Little Nellie".
Not one of the best Bond films I must say. It's a bit slow sometimes and the asian style isn't working too good. At least not when Bond disguise as an asian fisherman. Sean Connery doesn't look good as a japanese.
The huge place which is the location for the headquarters of Spectre is pretty cool. What a set!
