'Crocodile' Dundee in Los Angeles

'Crocodile' Dundee in Los Angeles

The third movie takes place in both Australia and Los Angeles. Paul Hogan and Linda Kozlowski are back. 2001. Director: Simon Wincer.

Mick (Paul Hogan) and his beloved Sue (Linda Kozlowski) are living in Walkabout Creek in a nice house on Mick's land in the Northern Territory with their son Mikey (Serge Cockburn). Mikey learns to hypnotize animals, like his father does. It's now illegal to hunt and kill crocodiles so Mick and his friend Jacko (Alec Wilson) are just wrestling the dangerous creatures for the tourists sake.
Sue is offered a job in LA, so the whole family travels to Beverly Hills where they are going to stay for the time being when Sue is working. There's something fishy going on at the set of a follow up to two flops, Lethal Agent III. Mick infiltrates the place, getting a job as a background actor. He notices that there's a lot of paintings from a museum in the former Yugoslavia there. He suspects something.
A man who's just as suspicious as the paintings thinks that Sue may be up to something when she intervues him for the third Lethal Agent movie. Will Mick find out the truth before Sue ends up in some serious trouble?
This movie is very funny and even if the plot isn't so extremely advanced, it's still very entertaining. Mick is still as charming as before and he's not use to the city life yet, so there's a lot of funny scenes. Sue is pretty boring and doesn't do much for the movie. But she's there and it doesn't hurt.
It's fun that this takes place on the backlot of a film studio, even if it isn't real. It's fun when Mick knocks out the hero in the picture, not realizing that their shooting. Hilarious.
