This is number two in the series of Mick Dundee. 1988. Director: Peter Faiman. Just like the prequel, this is a hilarious comedy.
Mick (Paul Hogan) and Sue (Linda Kozlowski) are living together in New York. Sue recieve a call from an old boyfriend who says that he's in trouble. He has taken pictures of a gangster killing a man, and those pictures are now sent to Sue. Sue fears that he'll be killed. That's just what happens to him.
The bad guys, the drug cartel lead by Luis Rico (Hechter Ubarry), travel to New York to get the pictures. They break in to Sue and Mick's apartment to get the pictures which are sent with mail. But unfortunatly for them, Mick allready got the mail which he was given by the mail man.
Luis and his guys kidnap Sue and threats to kill her if Mick doesn't come and give them the photos. Mick asks for help from his friend Leroy (Charles S Dutton) who tries to hold up a profile as a 'bad guy on the streets'. Leroy knows a group of people and Mick persuades these guys to help him save Sue. They succeed and Mick and Sue goes to Walkabout Creek to find peace.
But Luis and his guys track them down and hunt them in the Northern Territory's land. Mick knows the land better, and that is a help for him and Sue. But the bad guys come closer, and soon they will find them. Then Mick and Sue has to be ready to fight for their lifes.
This picture is fun, just like the first film. But here the film's opening scene is in New York, and they goes to Australia later. It's might a bit more exiting then the first film beacause then they didn't fight against any evil guys. So, this is a bit more exiting, but not as fun as the first film.
